MNSSHP 2017 - Strategy in the making.

I would love to but its 12am for me and I start work at 6am. I'll have to hope they post it afterwards or on notes by others.

I have to work but hopefully since I put down to save my spot, I can view it when I get home.

Still don't have a costume update, I did try and pin the fabric to my Belle skirt to make some progress but I don't have much space to work with and the pins were not staying in. I think my wristbands are going to be in a different shade of yellow. I need to come up with something for the shoes, some sort of shoe cover over my sandals.

I reached exactly one month until I fly out, this time next month I'd be an hour away from landing.

It's nearly 9:30pm here so I think I will be quite tired as I'll be checking in around 12:30am my time I think. So glad I only thought about wandering around the hotel that evening. (I've figured I land just after 5pm and it'll take me a while to get luggage and go through customs, that can be around an hour and then I need to get the Magical Express).

Edit: And check in because even though I did online check in as an International guest I have to go pick up my Magic Band. I had to pick between Love Bug or Mighty Ducks on my booking preferred options, I wished I'd paid a little bit more and got to choose the Toy Story rooms, I don't need to be by the pool.

I wonder why people entering with both a regular day ticket and a party ticket can't just get their wristband on arrival? Oh well, definitely a first-world issue.
I think we'll aim for that final Hocus Pocus show, too. I'm guessing that the crowd will be much smaller at that point, especially since we're going to the second party night. I am getting very excited!

Also check out the Disney Store if you have time to have it shipped. All stores should carry "Halloween" merchandise just not party specific. I totally agree about the party wristbands - what difference does it really make? The crowd level during the last Hocus Pocus show should be the least. Less kids on parents shoulders and recording devices blocking your view too. Have a wonderful trip!

OK, so the shirt I ordered from Etsy is not going to arrive before I leave for WDW this Sunday (the shop is not living up to its promised delivery time). I'm bummed. Will I be able to buy a Halloween-themed t-shirt at Disney Springs next Tuesday (the 22nd)? Preferably Haunted Mansion or Hocus Pocus-themed? Our party day is the only day we're going to MK and I'd rather not wait and buy one in the park.
Another question: We will be in MK around noon on our party day because we really want to do lunch at BOG and my daughter and son-in-law have a ressie for 12:50. Can we get our party wristbands when we arrive or do we go to one of the wristband sites at 4pm?
My final question: The Hocus Pocus show offers a midnight show. I thought the party ended at midnight?

The christmas shop in disney springs tends to have a rotating stock of nightmare efore christmas shirts, etc.

DH and I will be doing MNSSHP the day we get in on 9/10. I think by the time we get checked in to our resort and then over to MK it will probably be about 5:30-ish.
Pretty much the only characters we want to meet are Jack/Sally. How long can we expect to wait if we get in line about 5:30-6? I assume there will be quite a long line at that point, but hoping someone who has been there previously can give me an idea. First Disney trip ever and we have no idea what to expect haha!

Also- To get into the party, do we just need to scan our magic bands? I have already purchased tickets, just don't know if I have to print anything? I'm paranoid it's going to eat up one of our day tickets.

I haven't been to a party yet but from what I've heard around 1 hour + by that time. Which still leaves you time for the parade, fireworks and the show later on, I'd say make it the 12:00am Hocus Pocus show then you have more party time and a bit of time to meet any of the less busy characters that you want to meet.

There are turnstiles to use to enter the party so if you worried just use one of those.

I hear what you're saying and I hope this is true for those that would like to meet her but my issue is with "SpectroBro" I have no clue who this person is, how credible he is or where he's getting his information. According to the website he's been a member since August 2016 and has only 38+ posts to his name that's it. Unfortunately I cannot boldly state to the members of this board to plan for her based on a rumor.

This is the first Open Edition Halloween themed band Disney has done and features the Fab 5 (Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Donald, Goofy). Note that this band is the third Halloween related band releasing this year.

Just read on this site that people line up for Captain Jack Sparrow around 5. He is a must do for my party guest so I am sure Ill have to line up closer to that so we can make it to Be Our Guest on time.

Where did you read that? He should be relatively easy to meet later in the night. We lined up for his second set last year about 20 minutes before he arrived and were the 2nd family in line.
