I have never felt this incapacitated!

Definitely some lessons in Darwin's natural selection there, but I probably shouldn't mention how close we were to a bear when Mark got out of the car to get his backpack.

We saw alot of the same tricks including a man running into a field after a buffalo ! Were you able to go on the kayak tour? Hope your recovery is quick!

There were a lot of rangers out at places where the buffalo were close to the road, letting people know where to stop.

We were originally scheduled to go kayaking on Saturday, but it was cold and rainy, so we postponed until our last day, Tuesday. I was feeling lousy, but Mark and I had a double kayak and he did all the paddling. Which was a good idea, whether I am sick or not, because I have trouble paddling in synch. It was a beautiful, peaceful lake. Saw bald eagles in trees and flying on the outing.

I have some photos on my phone so if we get together at the end of the month, we can share pictures and stories!

I'll also see if I can post a link here for anyone who wants to look at some of the pictures. I would love to do a trip report, but I am already behind on 3 I am currently writing and have another one in the wings from the trip in two weeks and I know that one is going to be a doozie!

Bob and I ate at Captain's Grill tonight with friends. Some storm tonight, wasn't it?

Yes it was, we had to push back or reservation at Teppan Edo by 3 hours. My hubby was soaked when we tried to make it unsuccessfully through.

Yes it was!! We made it back to the room from MK with minutes to spare before the rain came. Hopefully it holds off again tomorrow. We are headed to Epcot.

Hope it tapers off for you! At least it is earlier today!

In the meantime I am enjoying one of these in honour of our group..

As most of you can probably imagine, being told that I have to take it easy is not a simple prescription for me! But so far I am following orders.

I hope you get better fast. There are a few Sunken Treasures waiting for you at SAB. I've heard that they have medicinal benefits.

Sadly I will need to be removed from the Be Our Guest list, I moved my April stay to BWV. I didn't want to have to hope for one of the handful of refurbed rooms. Good news for others though, with my luck, by moving resorts I have guaranteed the refurb will start and be 90% done by the end of April lol. But if there is a great sale I hope to switch back to a regular room at BC.

BWV refurb is due to end either early November or Mid December. I have seen conflicting dates.

Made it to the airport hotel. Getting something to eat and Aria told the server she wanted wine and meat. We got her orange juice, which seemed to satisfy her. She says the character she most wants to meet is David from Lilo and Stitch. Really? Dude was in three, maybe four, scenes.

Greetings from CR! I am currently freshly showered, lying on my bed watching it MONSOON out my window.....and still the monorail chugs on! We have an ADR at California Grill in about an hour and I wanted to check-in and say hi!

CR is....well.....the beds are comfortable! As many have stated.....it's like a really nice Sheraton. If I was in this room in NYC or DC etc, I'd be pretty happy, but we really would like either a little more Disney Magic, or at least a bit more theming. BUT, I don't want to be negative. The room is immaculate, HUGE, and it really is a thrill to see the monorail go by.

But I have bigger news about the CR, and this news keeps his post on topic.

CR LOBBY NOW SMELLS JUST LIKE BC/YC LOBBY!

That's right. I even confirmed with the lovely girl who checked us in. Aloe & Clover, and the fans must be stronger at CR, because the scent (in a delightful way) almost knocks you over when you enter the lobby!

Just checked in and for some reason the whole YC/BC feels really warm. There's even fans running on floor of captains grille. All common areas just seem like AC not working well. At least my room is cool. Anyone know what happened?

We are at YC. Spoke to front desk. The ac is out in certain areas of both resorts. There is also no hot water since this morning. They don't know when it will be fixed. We are in our room right now with the ceiling fan on and the patio door open and we are sweating!! DH is not happy but we are trying to make the best of it. They gave us one nights credit but we had to ask for it.

We are at YC. Spoke to front desk. The ac is out in certain areas of both resorts. There is also no hot water since this morning. They don't know when it will be fixed. We are in our room right now with the ceiling fan on and the patio door open and we are sweating!! DH is not happy but we are trying to make the best of it. They offered to switch us to a new hotel but we said no for now because we were really looking forward to staying here. We haven't had a chance to try the pools yet because of all the rain so we are hoping everything is fixed by tomorrow.
