We haven't had a true blockbuster like this in awhile. Starting Monday, lasting till Wed. morning. Should be interesting!

I dont live there, but just wanted to post everyone stays safe and warm.

2 feet (or more) possible form central Jersey up through New England. The potential is there for a historic storm. Can't expect it, but some forecast models are showing 3 feet for NYC. Important thing is that almost all models are pretty much in consensus for a major storm. Our quiet (until now) winter has just woken up.

FYI: SNOWMAGEDDON 2015 reaches all the way down to Delaware, and includes eastern PA and all of NJ.

We got around 6 inches Saturday morning, getting another 2 - 4 Monday during the day, and then will be hit by this nor'easter starting around 7PM Monday evening. Models for that storm for us show anything from 8 inches to a foot or more.

My area showed a predicted 31" on one map.

I'm ready to hibernate and my teen boys are doing a happy dance because, as one says, he'll have "stacks of cash" from all the shoveling jobs.

Will have to get to Market Basket, no matter that I was just there on Friday, as these beasties have already eaten all the bread and cereal (4 boxes!).

I'm in central PA. Weather says 6"-10" from tonight into Tuesday. I was about to cry at that forecast but now... Seems so much smaller than 2 feet!!! Everyone stay safe!

Oh gosh, I heard a foot for NYC area not 2 feet!!!:eek:

Oh well, time to make some soups and chili!!

I remember this pic someone posted a few years ago. Seems appropriate again!!

I wish we would get some snow this year. All the weather forecaster said this would be the winter of HUGE storms. So far we've had a whopping 2 inches. So I'm a little jealous of your snow.

Well thats a positive spin!

Keep warm!
My "Southern" son lives in CT outside NYC-he loves all this snow-but this might be the biggest he has seen!

I think we're safe from this storm here in northeastern PA, or so say the weather models. Then again, I woke up to 7" of snow yesterday morning when we were expected to get 0.5", so who knows! Stay safe and warm if you're in this storm's path!

Yowsa!!!!

Here in the Midwest the snow angel has passed us by. Heck it is raining here now.

Stay safe and warm.:goodvibes

ITA! We have not gotten any good storms this year in our part of the mid-west. I just wish we had one or two good 6-10" storms. We had some bitterly cold weather and now we are in a warm spell.

I hope everyone stays safe & warm because I know multiple feet of snow is more than anyone wants or needs. I hope everyone in the path is careful and it passes without major incidents.

We are in the 18-24" band but my forecast says less than 1" on Monday, and 5-8 on Tuesday. We'll see what happens.

According to Farmer's Almanac we are not supposed to get hardly any snow here in the Midwest.

Thanks for the good wishes everyone, all I care about is losing power brrrrr

I'm in the 20-30" range..all stocked up and ready to get at least one day off of work :)
