Am I the only one that has little boys that absolutely love Frozen? Mine are 5 and 2 and have seen the movie probably 50 times. They love Olaf and also like Anna and Elsa. I'm paying for the premium HS package and they are very excited! Wondering if my boys are just different, or if others have boys obsessed with Frozen too!!

My 4 year old loves it - partly because it's in his face all the time with DD6 I think :) but he sings along with the songs and everything. He has Olaf pj's and carries Olaf and Sven around with him :) The best is watching him act like an ice cutter and sing Frozen Heart in his "manly" voice - it just cracks me up!

mine do! Especially the 5 year old....3 year olds' favorites are Sven and Olaf, and I just bought the Elsa plush for the 5 year old boy as a surprise for our trip. He loves plush, has like 30 in his bed at all times!

So yeah, my boys love it enough that I'm buying typically "girly" things for them, LOL

*edited to add, the ONLY character M&G the 5 year old has requested is Anna & Elsa. The 3 year old has requested "Donald the Duck" :)

Of course there are boys that like Frozen. There have been few successful movies that were watched by only one gender exclusively.

My 4-year-old son is mesmerized by it! He is all boy in most ways, but he really seems to enjoy princesses. Elsa is by far his favorite because she shoots ice from her hands. He will sing the songs in the house and, for a while, half way through any other Disney movie he would ask if we could turn it off and watch Frozen.

Several of my friends have young boys who love Frozen. It is definitely more popular with boys than the average princess film.

My boys are 13, 10 and 8 and we all went to see Frozen together this winter. They definitely liked it, although I wouldn't say any of them are "obsessed" by it (probably more due to their ages than their gender). It's a fun movie. I'm lucky to have kids who don't decide things are "off limits" to them because they are boys - which is something that can happen sometimes no matter how open minded the parents are.

When I asked whether the boys wanted to meet Anna and Elsa during our trip next month, they all said no. Then, when the oldest wasn't around, both the younger boys sidled up to me and told me they really do want to meet the princesses. :)

We are right there with you. My son is an only child with no one to encourage his decisions, yet he loves Frozen. (I didn't like it as much as Tangled or Princess and the Frog.) He is 6 and has never paid any mind to princesses before but months ago when he saw the barbie style Anna, Elsa, and Kristoff in the store he had to have all three. Those are the only dolls he has ever had an interest in. I found out later how much they were selling for online. Hahha I should have guessed.

My 5 year old has watched it a gazillion times and is addicted! He knows all the songs and all our phones, camcorder, etc have videos of him singing "Let It Go" repeatedly. He is getting an Olaf for his birthday, and it definitely will be FP'ing Anna and Elsa for our September trip!

I don't know if you would call him "little" LOL, but my DS16 loves Frozen! We are a Frozen Family! So excited about HS Frozen events next month! :yay:

This means Disney's strategy is working in regards to princess movies, and it's not surprising. As with Tangled, they used a gender neutral anme and focused at least half the marketing on the non-princess characters. It helps get boys interested in a movie that they would probably like regardless but might not have given a chance.

Frozen in particular works because Elsa has super-powers, and to boys she may as well be a superhero. They also might have a little crush on her, as I can recall when I was young my first crushes were in fact cartoon characters. Whatever the cause, Frozen seems to have crossed gender boundries, which is a great thing for Disney.

My 2 year old nephew likes it, or at least the music. He does like Olaf and Sven the most though.

I'm actually keeping my 3 year old son away from seeing it because I already made my FP selections and fear if he sees it, he'll adore it and I'll be hosed on E&A, lol.

My 3 year old loves it quite possibly more than his 7 year old sister! He can't wait to meet Anna and Elsa even though he was a little scared at first that Elsa would freeze his heart! Lol.

Both of mine do too! They're <almost>6 and 3.

My oldest even got made fun of on the bus because he told some of the older kids he liked the movie. But he stuck his ground and said he didn't care what they thought.

I teach kindergarten to 4 - 6 year olds. The girls are certainly gaga for Frozen, and the boys like it too. When a Frozen song comes on, the boys know all the words and they sing along with the girls. :goodvibes

My DS loves it as well. He will shout-sing Let it Go at the top of his lungs right along with his sister. They each have their own Anna and Elsa dolls to prevent fighting, as they both want to sleep with the princess dolls some nights.

DGS (almost 3), adores Frozen. It has usurped Bubble Guppies as the most requested thing to watch. He sings and dances to the songs, and can sit, hugging his Olaf, through the entire movie. His attention span is never this long with anything else.

DS5 lovessss frozen.. He knows every song and I bought him the toys that have both girls kristoff Sven and Olaf ... Were going in November my son just was diagnosed with alopecia so some of his hair is turning white, he thinks Elsa did it to him like she did Anna lol they are on the top of his list to meet

My 10 year old really likes it. He also loved Brave, Tangled, and most parts of Princess and the Frog.

I'd let him see it. And with my son I just wouldn't let him know that meeting them was a possibility. I waited an hour or so to meet three princesses at Disneyland once for him (I think he was 3 then); I think an hour is my limit. :)
