Who's going or wants to go in December ?

Christine what kind of stuff do you keep in your owners locker ? and how do you get it ?

:rotfl: and how the heck do you know what to even pack until you get some idea of what the weather will be like !?

I fly out of Boston, so it's bound to be a tad chilly when I leave on Sat morning. So...I'll fly in my jeans, heavyish socks, a turtleneck, sweatshirt (WDW one of course!!) and a windbreaker. In my carryon I put..shorts, teeshirt, swimsuit. That way, I'm good to go as soon as I land. Usually, mid-flight, my socks come off, and I'm barefoot in my Crocs. I take off the windbreaker at Logan, then when I land at MCO the sweatshirt comes off. Into the ladies room I go and change into my teeshirt..and shorts if it's warm enough.
Then, that stuff gets put away to use if it gets chilly enough at WDW. I pack a few longsleeved shirts, as well as teeshirts. Heavier socks go as well...it gets chilly in the parks after dark. Capris are a biggie as well.

As for the Owners Locker....I'm dragging down some extra summer clothes to leave in my locker. Presently I have full sized toiletries, a swim suit, plastic dishware/cups, mister fans, cards, batteries, beach towels, holiday clothes, extra Crocs...those sorts of things.
You can find a banner for Owner's Lockers on some of the board areas...I believe there is one above most of the DVC boards here. John and Brian (company owners) are terrific to work with. They value good customer service. Nothing says 'welcome to WDW' like getting a message from my OL telling me it's waiting at my resort...I usually get that message within 10 mins of landing and turning on my cellphone!!!

Most of the things in there are grooming items, my Mr. Potato Head and all the Disney parts, Mickey Crocs, an extra swimsuit, beachtowel... a toaster (but don't tell anybody!) stuff like that.

The guys at Owner's Locker know my arrival date at the Poly, so will have it there waiting for me. Worked perfectly back in August. I didn't even have to call for it. Bell services delivered it to my room while I was out.

Well coming from Chicago i'll have plenty of warm clothes on me :rotfl: I'm just hoping for warm weather to escape to, everyone's been saying it's been cold in orlando, but then again 50 is warm to us and probably cold to some

The owners locker seems to be a good idea if you go enough, but unfortunately I usually only get to go once or twice a year

I have an idea what the weather will be like...hot, unless it's cold!! Maybe a bit of both!

 let's hope for warm

We're all down to single digits!!

How freakin fantastic is that!!! :yay: :yay:

I'm not. I'm 11.

I don't need no stinkin Owners Locker even though I go a lot - I've gotten very good at one carryon suitcase...

I'm leaving after work so I have to wear stuff that doesn't look incredibly casual at work. I will have a shirt with long sleeves, a sweat jacket and a big denim jacket - and gloves - I've been to WDW when gloves were needed. I have to change resorts halfway through so I'm just traveling with one bag which I will have sent from ASMusic to AKL and carry something with my Ipod in it since I don't want to leave that in the bag. There are always lockers at the parks for jackets if it turns out I need to carry one or two all day. Layers is the way to go - but you do end up having to carry some of the layers sometimes.

7 MORE DAYS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

One week from today I will be on my way to Orlando !!!!

:yay: :woohoo: :hyper: :woohoo: :hyper: :woohoo: :hyper: :woohoo: :yay:

I have three more sleeps (as my dd used to say!!)..then it's off to WDW and DCL!!!
