Hi all,
We haven't yet told our dd (soon to be 11) that we're going to WDW this Jan 6-10 and are thinking about waiting until we're on the way to the airport! While we did not visit the world last year, we did go the previous two (1/05, 1/06), so it's not dd's first visit or anything. I think she'll be really excited, but I just read about a kid who was disappointed that he didn't get to be excited in anticipation of the trip.
For those of you who surprised your kids, what was their reaction? Was it worth it to wait and make the trip be a surprise, or would it have been better to let them in on it sooner?
TIA!!
