When we traveled to WDW last year my son was 4 months old and was able to ride in a baby carrier on my chest. This summer he will be 15 months when we return and is to tall to ride in the carrier anymore. My question is about children riding on the laps of parents. I had heard that this was not allowed. However a number of people on this board have mentioned putting their young ones on their laps on the rides where it is possible. Is there an actual rule against this (The Six Flags near us doesn't allow it) and if so is it one this isn't enforced as long as parents don't flaunt it in the face of the cast members? I think my son will ride ok on most of the children appropriate rides but if he got a little scared I'm sure he would want to sit on our laps.
