Yet another QS question

Can you get an espresso or a cappuccino as your drink at any of the CS locations?

I was told (by someone that was there 2 days ago) that at Pepper market they would not let you get that as your drink.

BTW, I was also told that the staff was extremely rude, something that is really starting to concern me since I have read it here a few times and now directly from a family member.
I am staying at the CSR mainly because of the convenience of pepper market and the previous good experiences/values there.

Anyway has any one had luck getting an espresso of their drink with a CS?
I will not drink fake coffee (Nescafe).

I wouldn't worry about Pepper Market. You always hear the extremes from people. It has so many good reviews and not everyone has the same expectations. For example, a restaurant that you love is sure to have people who have a bad review. Also, Pepper Market is not Disney owned AFAIK, so their policies regarding the Dining Plan may not reflect those at the Disney restaurants and food courts.

Regarding coffee, I am a total coffee lover and although a can pack away a larger quantity than is good for me, like you, it's all about quality. You probably know not to bother with the food courts then......! I seem to remember Sunshine Seasons doing cappuccino and espresso earlier this year. I seem to think they allowed it as a drink and also on one occasion as a sub for a dessert. It was pretty drinkable too. This was in April and the trouble is that Disney is constantly evolving in its policies which can depend largely on who you speak to and where you are.

Some of the monorail resorts had Kona coffee as does WPE in DTD. I am trying to remember if Earl of Sandwich had, but I don't recall.

As far as CS in resorts and the parks go, I wouldn't bother. Your best bet for decent coffee in theme parks is likely to be Epcot at the places around the World Showcase. I am going to keep my eye on this thread though and hopefully some other people who appreciate a good cup of caffeine will report back on their recent findings.

So sorry I can not comment on the espresso or cappuccino, but I have stayed at CSR twice, and have found the CM's very courteous in all parts of the resort (especially at the PM). People will always have isolated bad incidences. Please do not be alarmed. The resort and staff are fabulous.

I cannot answer for sure but was just looking at food porn and in some of pics were iced lattes. The captions stated this is what I got from the QSDP and it specifically stated the iced lattes. I agree with the PP, we stayed at CSR not on the dining plan, paid the 10% fee and never had any issues. The food seemed to be better than other CS. The CMs were always helpful. Back to your coffee question, you might try this...Starbucks has an instant coffee that dissolves in 8 oz of ice water or milk. Just a thought!

I'm not sure about getting one as part of your meal, but I used snack credits regularly at the PM for lattes our last trip.

We've stayed at the CSR 3 times for long trips and have never had a problem with rude CM's there.
