Will You Chill Out if I Sprinkle You With Pixie Dust? The End p136 *New TR Link* p138

Thanks Brook and I think it did. If my parents weren't both in poor health I think it would be a lot easier for them. It's a fact of life, but just harder when someone is even more dependent on their animal for the small joys in life.

:lmao: You're like me. I count them up. I still have to do Feb, March, April, and July. Only - I don't think I will ever do July. Although I have to admit that I am intrigued by the 4th of July fireworks.

:lmao: Exactly how I think. In fact, maybe I'll use that strategy for my spring 2014 trip!

Thanks Wendy! I really appreciate your support. I know you are a huge animal lover. It would have been cool to have a picture of Tibber taken by you.

You can't do everything, especially when you are trying to hit up all the Holiday / Christmas activities in a short trip. At least that's what I found last December on my short trip. But I did manage to sneak in Wishes after eating at the Cali Grill!

Last June I got $185 (I think, I kind of forget now) out of ABE on AirTran. It was the absolute best rate I could find. We had to pay for two checked bags, but when you factor in that we parked for free (thanks to Denny's brother), it was the clear winner. The flights were just ridiculous last summer.

We had never considered flying from there because of judging it too far from our house, but honestly, it was a great experience. Unfortunately, once air tran pulled out (thanks SWA for that), I think its hard for them to find a regular carrier. If they did, I would use that airport again with no hesitation. I just loved the low key, laid back, and on time experience.

It's too bad that more people didn't take advantage of the service. I could definitely see if you live in middle or north Montgomery county or Bucks county - it would have to be a winner.

You hit the nail on the head. She was their companion and that's what makes it so sad. She was therapy. And, honestly, they really won't outlive another cat. So they will never have another one.

Give it 100 pages. I'm serious. Then it just takes off and is an excellent read.

The standard view rooms are definitely a bargain. I was surprised standard view was available, that's why I decided to snatch it up. However, in comparison to the preferred view that Cynthia and I had in October - well, that was just fabulous. I could live in that room.

I hear you Rosie. I haven't been on the boards since Wednesday due to a busy work schedule and home schedule.

Bell ringer? For the salvation army or for a bell choir? I am intrigued.

Thank you so much Sheree. Losing a pet is the worse because they are so innocent as they suffer. It breaks your heart and now my parents lost their little ray of sunshine. It's going to take them a long time to get over this because my dad is basically home bound.

Having now officially tried them all, I have to say that BWV is definitely a favorite. I love them all and each one has its own uniqueness. I know I wish I was at VWL right now for Christmas. A girl can dream, right?

e went Bell Ringing for the Salvation Army.. But they do belong to a Bell Choir , the group visits the house about once a month and all who participate get to perform in the Annual Talent Show !!!:woohoo:

Spoiler Alert!!! I actually purchased a Canon EoS Rebel Ti on Black Friday- it really helps when you are the one playing Santa!!!

The only thing that concerns me is that I don't want to be held back by the idea that I have to babysit my camera. Right now with my waterproof point & shoot, I take it everywhere with me. I will have to be more careful with the new camera. We are taking a beach vacation to Mexico in Feb, and although I will bring the camera, I will probably only pull it out during "picture walks" and dinner, etc.

That's awesome! Just use it. Take it everywhere. Just don't put it under your feet on EE (in the case) with the lens cap facing up and not on too tight - so you don't crack the lens rim like I did. Yeah - smart move on my part. :sad2:

I'm so sorry about Tibber, losing a pet is so hard, they really do become part of the family. :sad1: I'm still not over losing my cat Nina, who died in April. I can't even look at pictures of her. :sad1::sad1::sad1:

Yay for your new Mac Book! I've been wanting to buy one for a while, but then I end up spending my extra money on Disney trips instead! :rolleyes1 They're so expensive, and they are never on sale! I love the Snow White decal, I'd probably get the same one!

:welcome: pooh'smate! Thanks for joining in! I have heard of that movie but I did not know it was about the diving horses. Well, you know I am going to have to check it out now. Thanks for the tip! And - I'm impressed that you got so far with my TR. :thumbsup2

I am all caught up. I have to say that I was able to read it all but I read it here and there. i was able to read a lot over the past few days because I pulled some muscles and tore some cartilage all around my rib cage so I have had lots of down time. I hope you enjoy Wild Hearts. It is based on a true story. I loved your tr and I am sorry about your mom's cat.

I'm very sorry to hear about your mom's cat. We're cat people as well, and I dread the day one of my babies has to cross the rainbow bridge.

Good luck to your son with his college decision! I hope he finds the school that is a perfect fit for him! If he goes to a larger school, could he possibly play club soccer, or join a local adult team not affiliated with the university? My DH loves soccer too, and still plays. Its been really great for him, because it has enabled him to make friends even though we move so often, and he just really enjoys the game.

I'm so sorry to hear about your Mom's cat. It's so sad. I had to put down one of mine two years ago, and I still have moments when I get very upset about it.

I love the decal you added. It's so cool. I have to say, I may have to get one for myself.

Sorry about your Moms cat. She looks beautiful.
I have a love hate relationship with cats...mostly because we have about 80 barn cats that like to ocme nad poop in my garage. I wish a few would run away. yo ushould see what it looks like next to the barn right before the guys bring a bucket of milk out from the cows. Those cats know what time to be there and they ALL are there. :rotfl2:

You got some fabulous wishes pictures. Did you use a tripod?

A Picture Review of Our Trip

I promised I would do a picture review of our trip! Even though I have half of it done, it is still quite an undertaking. Anyway - here goes. I'll probably be updating for the next 3 hours. Be Patient!

Saturday June 9, 2012

We had a rockstar flight out of Lehigh Valley. I heard is was a great little airport and that was so true.

Sunday June

I got up bright and early and had a nice quiet run down I drive.

Maybe I got up a little too early because I did a double take when I saw this

Up Next - Firsts, Foremosts, and Final Thoughts!

e went Bell Ringing for the Salvation Army.. But they do belong to a Bell Choir , the group visits the house about once a month and all who participate get to perform in the Annual Talent Show !!!:woohoo:

I have always wanted to be in a Bell Choir. Even though I play music, I have doubts as to whether I would be coordinated enough to ring the bell at the right time. :rotfl2: I think I might be kind of challenged in that respect. :scared:

I'm so sorry about Tibber, losing a pet is so hard, they really do become part of the family. :sad1: I'm still not over losing my cat Nina, who died in April. I can't even look at pictures of her. :sad1::sad1::sad1:

OMG Jen, I remember that. Thank you for the condolences. It's going to take my mom a really long time to get over this. It's really so sad. I really dread the time when I have to put my Max to sleep (or any of my cats, but especially Max because he is the most interactive).

Yay for your new Mac Book! I've been wanting to buy one for a while, but then I end up spending my extra money on Disney trips instead! :rolleyes1 They're so expensive, and they are never on sale! I love the Snow White decal, I'd probably get the same one!

I bought mine on GF when they were actually $100 off. Really not a lot compared to how much they cost. I wouldn't even consider spending this much money on a computer, but I use garage band more than any other feature. And there is just no way to get something like garage band on a PC. I am sure there are other programs, but I am used to it and I don't really want to learn something new.

Oh My - that's sounds very painful. I know its painful because I am an NP with people who have had heart and lung surgery. So ouch! I hope your recovery goes smoothly, but I am glad it afforded you with some extra down time for the DIS boards and my TR.

Thanks for your condolences about Tibber. She will be surely missed. I am going to check for Wild Hearts on Netflix!

I'm very sorry to hear about your mom's cat. We're cat people as well, and I dread the day one of my babies has to cross the rainbow bridge.

Rainbow bridge - I like that. But I know exactly what you mean. I have three cats that are all around the same age and its going to be tough, for sure. Thank you for the condolences!

I think my son is leaning towards a larger school and doing just that. Unfortunately, the club teams are so competitive that its difficult to get a spot on one of them in a larger school. He would have to be very persistent and keep playing intramurals until something opens up. He refs soccer and loves that. I am going to encourage him to join an adult league this summer so he can continue to play. He just loves the sport, but I don't think he is keen on a small school. I have to be positive that it will all work out for the best.

I have a couple more replies, but I really need to get off my "you know what" for awhile! Be back later!
