Which beach to visit?

We'll be in the Orlando area Sept 24th to Oct 4th. We are staying at POR and renting a car for the first time. We want to take the kids to the beach but don't know which one to go to. We want to get in the water (not swim or surf) just safe from jelly fish. We want as clean/clear water as possible and white sand beaches. Not planning on staying over night this will be a quick day trip. Need advice what beach from WDW would you visit?

Pensacola Beach...since it's only a 30 minute drive from my front door.

Cocoa Beach has waves and you can watch the cruise ships. Clearwater or Maderia Beach (it might be alittle closer), has baby powder sand and clearer, warm water.
