It was brought to my attention yesterday that my school district appears to be the only one that hands out schedules in late August, a few weeks before school starts. It's always been like this too.

When do you get your next school years' schedule?

The day we start back. If we're lucky.
Mine shouldn't really change all that much now though.

I don't even get my A Level results back until 27th August, when I happen to be in WDW... When I get the results, I have to go into the college, talk to them about the results, and decide what to take up for the next year, then we're back in school on 7th September, with a rough schedule, which can be changed for up to a month, I believe.

I get my schedule the day school starts. So Tuesday after Labor Day. It's kind of lame because we don't get them till 1st period starts. Our names are on a list on the wall and it tells us our homeroom and when we get there what class we have 1st becomes apparent. After O Canada the schedules are distributed.
They messed up back in September of this past year though, they handed us the schedule for term one and term two. Those are the exact same classes if you're not in grade nine.
So we didn't get the second semester schedule for a couple of days.

But as it stands, I should be taking:

Intensive English (Me thinks it's 111, and 112, but I'm not sure, it's a year long course).
Geometry & Applications in Math.
Functions & Relations in Math.
FI Language Arts 11.
Canadian History (Believe this is a grade 12 course).
Poli Sci.
Media Studies.
Graphic Arts & Designs.
FI Biology.

Those are the courses I should be taking, but I could end up taking Chem or whatever the other second choice one was. It's either Physics or World Issues.

after winter break well be entering terms 3+4
the only change being i now do music instead of art..
hallelujah!

i think we get our scheds on the first day..

I get mine on August 24, in 1st hour.

My school think's it's much easier to have 2700 kids crowd the whole first floor, pushing there way to the walls to see the room number/teacher you have then mail it out a week early so no pushing or confusion happens.

we don't get ours till like two weeks before school starts.
we're on a block schedule.
but, i should be taking
Band (it's double blocked)
Acappella (Varsity Choir)
Chamber Choir (brand new class. :])
English 3
Chemistry
Math models and applictations
and Us History.

it should be a fun year. :]
although i'm gonna have to take summer classes and most likely dual credit classes to get all my credits....but, it's all good.

Lol. When I was in high school, we didn't get ours until the first day! Seriously, they would gathar us in a few rooms on the first day, and hand out our schedules. It was like 'surprise, surprise! you get to have chemistry, calculus, and advanced history all in a row! joy!'.

Anyways, I make my own schedule in college. :D

Monday, Wednesday, and Friday this is my schedule.

US History II 9:00
Freshman English II 10:00
General Psychology 11:00
Beginning French 12:00
Humanities through the Arts 1:00

On Tuesday and Thursday I have French from 12:40-2:10.

The worst part of college is, most of these classes are in different buildings. So I have to walkkkkkk my lazy butt all around campus.

The 6th graders get their schedules before school starts. The 7th and 8th graders get their schedules the day school starts.

I'm going into 8th grade!!

NOt until school starts in August.

^Point in case why I hate private schools. none of the public schools have class until after labor day.

Last year, I got my schedule in the mail at the end of July.
We start after labor day.

About a week before school starts (Freshmen get them at Freshman Orientation).

I need to take my placement tests, then I gotta schedule orientation and then I register for classes there.
College, here I come.

About 6 weeks ago when I signed up for classes for the fall. I just know the days and times of each of them.
