What Shore Excursions are you considering at Castaway Cay & Nassau?

Hi Fellow POD2.0 Cruisers,

We have not made up our mind regarding Nassau.

On Castaway Cay I wanted to do the Parasailing but my wife talked herself out of it (at this point) so now we are tentatively booked on the Walking & Kayak Nature Adventure tour.

We booked the Blue Lagoon Beach Day. If a "must do" podcast event is scheduled during that time we might reconsider. Blue Lagoon Island is beautiful and you can choose to come home on the 2 or 4 pm ferry. I would also love to hear what other people chose.

I parasailed for the first one. I enjoyed it. Jaime felt the parasailing at Bay Lake was a better value (and you are guaranteed to stay drier).

I was worried about parasailing because of my fear of falling. I really enjoyed it and wished I went again.

We've booked nothing for Nassau...thinking of just getting off long enough to buy a little something and that's it.

For CC...we booked the Glass Bottom Boat...

Todd, you know Louise... I was surprised that she initially would consider it. So at this point I've gone a different route.

Nassau is still up in the air... Ship, something at Atlantis or the Blue Lagoon Beach.

We have NO plans for either Nassau or CC.

Last cruise, we parasailed as well and thoroughly enjoyed it.
But, not knowing what Podcast events will be planned at what times... AND wanting to take full advantage of relaxing and spending time with new friends- we are not making and structured plans on this cruise.

Our motto: "relax- we're on vacation!!"

We signed up for the See and Sea Island Tour for Nassau. I think it has the best of both worlds for us - we get to see Nassau, but will be a guided tour so we don't have to just wander around, plus has a glass bottom boat tour so we get to see ocean life as well.

We didn't plan anything for Castaway Cay.

I agree with Linda, no plans, just relaxing. I MIGHT take a quick tour through the straw market on Nassau. My niece went on a cruise and she got a cute purse. I might have to find a cute purse. Other than that, I am just going to enjoy the pleasures provided by Disney. Can you say massage???

We have no plans for Nassau, may not even get off the ship. We'll just use it as time to explore and relax. For CC, we booked the stingray adventure. The kids are really excited about that one. The rest of that day, just time to relax with all our new friends!!!

DITTO - although this was my second time so I wasn't afraid of falling. Although I liked the getting wet part - that was fun.

I'm not booking any excursions this time. I plan on finding a hamock / lounge chair and doing nothing but chatting w/ my friends and maybe getting in the water.

Not sure about Nassau, maybe a trip over to Atlantis.

Castaway Cay - Perhaps the package with the bike & snorkel equipment.

Kat and I are "booking" the "explore and enjoy the Wonder, while everyone else goes to Nassau" tour....and the "grab a beach chair way down on Serenity Bay and relax all day" tour on CC. MMm, yeah that sounds about right.

I booked the "Discover Atlantis" excursion for Dino & I too for Nassau. I figured Dino would enjoy a little casino time more than the city/garden trip , plus the aquariums there look wonderful.
