What color afghan would you choose to go with comforter/paint?

The wall color is a medium brown and the comforter is a medium grey, curtains are solid white. Floor is hardwood no rug in a bedroom. I don't know what color to crochet the afghan. Would all white afghan with a grey border be the best choice? Especially if we go with another wall/comforter color scheme in the future? Or would you use white and grey yarn pulled together to make the afghan? Any ideas?
