Yay, now it's the under 2 week dance!

MNSSHP!

Hi everyone! Wow my trip is coming up quickly! I feel so unprepared! I have all of the important things done, but I still have to do the little things like finish my trip binder, make packing lists, buy toiletries...hopefully this weekend I'll get a lot of those things finished!

Since the first MNSSHP's were held this week, I can finally do my MNSSHP update! I cannot WAIT for to finally go to this party, I feel like I've been waiting to go for years!

Here's what I'm hoping to get accomplished at MNSSHP!

Meeting some of the more "rare" characters, like:

The Dwarves!

Captain Jack Sparrow!

Mickey and Minnie, in their costumes!

The Villains!

Getting a picture in front of Cinderella's Coach!

The parade!!!

Seeing Hallowishes!!!

I'm guessing we won't be able to do all of that in one party, which is why we will most likely do 2, I want to be able to have time to see and do everything, and it just doesn't seem possible in 5 hours!

Oh, I'm also kind of dressing up for the first party-I bought these Cheshire Cat ears and a tail so I'm just going to wear a pink shirt and black pants with the ears and tail and that's going to be my costume. Nothing crazy, but at least I'm sort of participating!

I have been looking at the pictures of MNSSHP party and I can't wait. I really want to get a picture with Gaston, I haven't seen him before.

How is your new camera working out? I just bought the same one for Caitlin for her birthday. It was on sale at Best Buy and afterwards I could swear that it looked familar and remembered that you had gotten a new camera. I am pretty sure it is the exact same one.

What is Brandon going to wear to the party?

I haven't seen the Snow Hag from Snow White, is she not out anymore for the party? I was kind of looking forward to meeting her!

I haven't used my camera yet, I'm not going to know what I'm doing with it when I'm there if I don't use it soon! I'm surprised you got that one for Caitlin, it's kind of big and complicated! I always let her use my old Canon when she's here, and I showed her how to use the zoom the other day, she was fascinated, she kept zooming in on the cats faces!

Brandon isn't going to dress up, he didn't even know we were going to the party until like, 3 days ago. I was telling him about all the characters that were there and he was like "are we going to that"? Seriously? I've only been planning this for HOW long? Ughhhhhhhh!!!

Best Buy had it all the Lumix cameras on sale and that one was $50 off. She was so upset last trip that she couldn't get good pictures that I was hoping this would be okay. Maybe I'll keep it and give her my old canon.

Are you sure you got the same one that I have? I got the Lumix DMC-ZS8, maybe you got the DMC-FH27? That one is almost the same as the one I got, but it's smaller and it comes in different colors. And I'm only saying it's complicated because I don't know how to use it! It is kind of big for a point and shoot, though, it's a lot bigger than my Canon.

I know, I can't wait!!!! I will definitely wait for the dwarves early. Actually, if we don't meet them, it's not a huge deal since we saw them at MVMCP last year, but I'd like to see them again...I'm more interested in Jack Sparrow!

Great plans for MNSSHP! Don't worry, you're probably more prepared than you think. I'm sure you know this already but make sure you line up EARLY to see the seven dwarves. The line was INSANE already at the beginning of the last party I went to in 2010. Just plan plan plan! But like I said, I'm sure you already know what to do. Going to 2 parties will help that. I'm sure you'll look super cute as the Cheshire cat Have fun!!! Can't wait to hear more about the parties.

I know what you mean about not being prepared. We leave in five days and I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO not ready.

Don't worry, I know you'll get everything done in time for the trip. I think there's always that feeling of being unprepared when you get about two weeks out. You'll be good!

I love your costume idea! I think it's very cute. Make sure you take pictures so we can see.

A word of warning, go to the M&G for the Dwarfs FIRST, because I've seen on people's trip videos the line can get extremely long like wrap around Fantasyland long, so go straight to that, just an FYI for you.

Going to two MNSSHPs sounds perfect! Your plans sound like a lot of fun. I'm trying to figure out our plan for MNSSHP, but I don't have too much, beyond making sure to see the parade and Headless Horseman. I'm glad you decided to dress up. The Cheshire Cat is one of my favorites.

I have 6 more days of work as well! It seems so close but yet so far!

I'm having DH bring up our suitcases from the basement this weekend and I am going to go through the toiletries on Monday and make a list of what we need to replenish. I also want to begin packing socks, undergarments, etc. 11 nights is a lot to pack for!

Greg and I are dressing up in costume but I did make us semi-matching t-shirts to wear to the MNSSHP on the 30th. Is that the one you're dressing up at? I hope we run into each other!

Woo!!!! I'm going on Tuesday and then again on the 30th (with you there! lol) I'm going with some friends on Tuesday so I'm sure they will want to do all of the character meets so I will be willing since I'll be going twice I'm happy..2 Hallowishes, 2 Parades, 2x trick or treating lol.

I have been to 2 MNSSHPs and here is my advice.

*I have only seen the second parade and I think that not all of the floats were there the second time of the night. I'm not 100% sure but that is my two cents.

*Make sure you see Hallowishes, it is my FAVORITE firework display at Disney.

*The dwarves get lines SUPER early. Like before the party officially starts. Last year I saw the line start around 6PM I think. They were out in Fantasyland almost across from Pooh and they had a line before 7, same with the carriage but I find that the carriage moves faster than the dwarves. I have never waited for the dwarves but have for the carriage. I actually got in line for the carriage a little before the party started and it seemed to go by pretty fast.

I really love MNSSHP, it's a great time and I think going to two parties would be super awesome you can get the best of everything that way!
