Now there is an interesting thought (provided by Thomas Jefferson) and one that is very appropriate in this thread. How often have you read a dining review where someone opens with "Oh my god we were simply STARVING our whole week at Walt Disney World!"? That being said...

I'm Tink, I'm 25 and I have done a few Dining Reports in the past, most notably this past August & October. I also seem to be somewhat famous for *this* picture

At which most people go ::yes:: and then :scared1: when they discover this is NOT Yoshi's Deluxe Platter but our insane first experience with California Grill Sushi that set us back $100 LOL. It was soooo worth it but we've never ordered that much since. Typically we stick to 2 or 3 rolls now.

My DIS-inspirations are MickeyNicki & oybolshoi. :goodvibes Their reports are fun, filled with pictures and great commentary :wave2:

I'm confused! You said this was a F&W Pre TR, but you're traveling in March? I thought your last trip was in March? :confused3

LOL thank you! You caught me copying and pasting!

Because I was doing this while I was working, I didn't pay too much attention to the contents.

Let me revise this ;) One sec!

I was disappointed that your other trip report is finished (snif, snif), but glad you are starting a pre-TR.

HILARIOUS rating system! The bar keeps getting raised. No wonder I haven't started my pre-TR. I'll have to get DH to help me - he's the witty one.

Where are you finding info on Via Napoli and Hacienda de San Angel? We're going in September and I keep waffling about my Epcot WS choices (Chefs and Tutto).

I'm sad my other report is finished too :( But only 4 months until Food & Wine and there is so much info trickling out from WDW that it will give me lots of things to write about here :goodvibes

Thanks! I love Ratatouille and it took me a while to settle on which characters and images I wanted to use for my rating system. As soon as I saw the "scared remy" and the "screaming remy" I knew that I had to use them! :lmao:

The Disney Parks Blog has been posting info here and there on Via Napoli and Hacienda de San Angel, they are both set to open in September.

I've posted any info I know about them on my blog The Disney Foodie Blog

You guys are nuts! You're going to eat F&W plates AND have ADRs three times a day.

I went to Epcot's F&W Festival for the first time last year and decided that when I go, I'm only going to make one or two ADRs for the whole week so that I can eat the little plates all day and all night long (weekdays only of course!)

I'm now following two of you who will be there. I will live vicariously through the two of you as I await 2011, when I can return and hopefully stay in the beautiful BCV, but enough about that! Can't wait to hear more about your trip and YAY! It's only four months away!

I'm so excited for this trip and more of your wonderful reviews! I love your rating system - so clever! :goodvibes

OMG How did you eat all that!!!!It looks wonderful but I couldn't eat that much!!!Did you just sample each thing !!???

im addicted to nainaimo bars they sell the box mix in the grocery stores everywhere where Im from (Ottawa) (visiting fiance in Cali for5 months)

Mmm I want to go make some from scratch now

Those portions look HUGE! With your description I'm not sure I want to go to PFTS! We have a similar event in CA, but much more tame and well monitored! My DP and myself attend in scooters and we attach tables to the front so we don't have worry about all that running! Your analogy to the running of the bulls is both funny :lmao: and scary:scared1: !

You will love  the Fisherman's pie! It is so tasty! That was probably my favorite savory of last year!

:lmao: I suppose we are being a bit ambitious! I have actually modified my ADRs since I first posted and I'll post an updated list momentarily.

We adore the F&W Festival and I agree that the best part id constantly trying the Marketplace Booths. There is so much variety that we have never been able to try every item :sad2:

Thanks for reading again! :goodvibes I thought the rating system would be cute.

I remember you Ratatouile Rating !!! I LOVE the F &W sample pix !!I will be ther 14th thru 19th!!!

I didn't do a rating system before :confused3 maybe someone else used Ratatouille last year? :rotfl:

Thanks for joining in :thumbsup2

The portions are actually fairly small. 3 bites each and you are done. Plus, the event runs for 2 1/2 hours so the sampling is pretty well spaced out.

I love nanaimo bars too! I'll be interested to see the Disney interpretation.

As I mentioned to a PP, the portions weren't that big, about 3 bites. However, we have decided that in terms of value we won't be doing PFTS again until they provide seating for all (and not at a $$$ upgrade).

We feel we get much better value (and an amazing experience) at V&A! Which we will be doing on Oct 28th for DMom's bday.

Oh it was scary as it happened! Funny afterwards :rotfl: People were literally smacking their teeny side plates down on tables, I half expected people to start throwing them like frisbees to secure a spot

I was so upset that I missed the Fisherman's pie, I'm dying to try it!
