Hi all!
I was just wondering, were planning on entering MK on just our party ticket at 3pm (I believe that is the allowed time) but have a dining reservation at the GF at 5 pm. Can we come and go on that ticket or is it something that once you leave you’re done?
Thanks!

You can come and go, but the allowed arrival time is 4pm.

I would not waste 2 hours in a sit down table restaurant plus 30 min monorail line up and security bag check... when the Xmas party is only like 5 hours. It’s a loss of 50% in that event.

I would use that time to ride as many rides as possible after watching the parades.

every year i keep doing that and i make the same mistake because it's packed between 4 and 7 . this year i have jungle skipper adr at 4pm. it is just so crowded with both party people and regular ticketed people together. it is a good time though to grab a map and spend time looking it over.

The MVMCP map will be available on-line starting about Nov. 5.

The regular ticketed (day) guests must exit MK at 6PM.

It’s an impossible task. There is no way to force those daytime guests out. I heard many people cheat and refuse to leave. It’s not hard. They hide in washroom or restaurant. If the only way to pick out those guests is by wrist bands and people are wearing long sleeve and jackets for cold weather and everyone is standing shoulder to shoulder due to large crowds, you know it won’t work.

Disney should close and empty the park entirely at 4pm the readmit people 5pm

They won’t. They care more about selling the same space twice for twice the income. If you have a business, don’t you wish you can sell the same service twice to different customer without having to get more store space or equipment? That is what Dinsney is doing.

In fact they are doing 3 time! Extra morning magic, daytime admission, afterhour party... I bet Mr. Walt Disney would not have agreed to this corporate greed if he is still alive today.

Don't know what you read but yes people without party tickets are forced out of the park. There are a ton of CM's everywhere checking for wristbands. In the very rare event it might be cold at all, you'll need to raise your sleeves to show the wristbands.

It's not a free for all like you make it seem and people are not just camping out in bathrooms or stores. Their checking wristbands. If you don't have one you're escorted out

I really hope that is the case. I am one of the Party ticketholders. I just wish that I have not paid on something that other people will get for free by cheating. However, I read on many online reviews from attendees that Disney does not efficiently clear out everyone so the park is doubly crowded with spectator watching parades for free (ie, only daytime tickets).

Having enjoyed many parties through the years, I still marvel at the polite but very effective method cast members employ to gently herd the day guests toward the hub and on their way down Main St. I suppose a few determined individuals may actually slip the net, but unless content to camp in a land, while not shopping, eating, or visiting attractions, why would they bother?
They might be able to hang with the crowds on Main St, and catch the parade or fireworks but I think time would start to hang pretty heavy on their hands.

I was just at MNSSHP on Aug. 24 and I can assure you CM's were firmly, but politely refusing guests without wristbands ride access and they had a huge "dragnet" set up so you couldn't even enter the hub without a wristband. Our wristbands were checked at Skipper Canteen as we were eating right before the party was starting, at every ride and at the hub.

There are always rotten eggs, but I've always been pretty impressed with the park clearing I've witnessed at parties.

And related...while of course we don't know Disney's true motivations... I'd argue the shift to 6pm park closings on party nights that they started with MVMCP last year is actually a decent upgrade to party goers as it gives Disney a running start in clearing non-party guests. That move was, of course, not great for day guests, but seems like a win for party guests.

So, if I have a 6:05 reservation at Skipper's canteen on a party night but don't have a party ticket, will I be refused service, or will I just have to leave as soon as done eating?
