Hi all! We just got back and I'm already dreaming of going back home! So we wiped out our 2017 points with the trip just completed. Our use year month is August. If we want to go back in April 2018, will our 2018 points be available? I am understanding that to still be in our 2017 use year, but still confused! Any help would be appreciated, thank you!!

You can borrow points from your Aug 2018 UY for any trip from Aug 1, 2017 on. Just remember you can NOT un-borrow them. Once the points go to the 2017 UY, they will expire on July 31, 2018 if not used.

that clears it up, thank you so much! I dont know why the use year gets me so tangled up! So then 2019 would not be available to borrow until after aug 1, 2018?

Your 2018 UY runs from Aug 1, 2018 to July 31, 2019. So if you want to book a stay for Aug 1, 2018 for 7 nights, you can call or go online on September 1, 2017 and use borrowed 2019 UY pts to make the reservation for your home resort.

But you cannot use 2019 UY pts to book a stay that falls in your 2017 UY.
