The hot tub by the pool is open at RPR. Game room opened today and they resumed housekeeping as well. Business as usual again!

Thank you for this awesome update!!!

The text service for housekeeping worked really well last summer, but I’m excited to not need to use it again.

Even better, the hot tub and arcade are open! My boys will be so excited come October. Hopefully this means good things for Loews and Universal from a staffing standpoint. More open should mean more positions filled, right?

A site I saw said housekeeping back July 1 but only for preferred and premier hotels only. A good sign at least…getting back to normal. Not sure if I can post the site link here. But the info is below is from it:

• Hotel Operations Update
  • When will Concierge come back? July 1
  • When do we resume normal club operations? (china/silver) – June 1
  • When does Star Service resume? 24 hour/full delivery – June 21
  • Resume UO packages being delivered by Star Service – July 1
  • When does Daily Housekeeping Service resume? – July 1
    1. Premier and Preferred Hotels:
       1. We will be offering a light refresh service only on stayover rooms. This includes making beds, refreshing the bathroom, emptying the trash and replacing towels and amenities as needed. Full housekeeping service upon checkout.
    2. Prime Value and Value hotels:
       1. These hotels will continue with contactless housekeeping – additional towels, linens delivered to guest room upon request. Full housekeeping service upon checkout.
  • Resume Normal Bell Service – July 1
  • Resume UO Packages being delivered by Star Service – July 1
  • Resume modified breakfast buffet (CBBR_SALAD BAR) – May (CBBR Salad Bar TBD)
  • Begin modified WOK/Pasta Cucina – June TBD
  • Resume entertainment in outlets – Mama in June – others TBD
  • Resume dive-in movies – July 1
  • Resume recreation activities – June 1
  • Resume entertainment at pool – July 1
  • Resume hot tub operation (outdoor only) – July 1
  • When will Valet resume? – Targeting June 21
  • When do game rooms re-open? – July 1

Thank you to everyone who posted updates. I am really excited that we are going to have housekeeping and hot tubs on our trip. Now fingers crossed for shorter food wait times.

I had to call today too to do something with my reservation and I was only on hold 15 minutes! Floored…Thought it would 90 like last time I had to call.

That really stinks. We're all paying customers but some get treated better than others. I could understand no housekeeping when it was suspended across the board but it really sucks that I'm going to have to keep cleaning my own room just because I can't afford a high end hotel.
