From social media today. The 'tease' appears to be an opening date for Tiana's Bayou Adventure. Here's the wording from @DrewDisneyDude:

All citizens of New Orleans are to prepare for an announcement from Princess Tiana and Prince Naveen.

Apparently he used the same source that told him it would be opening in the summer instead of the fall.

Oh well. I’m still holding out for a July opening.

Do AP previews usually come before media previews? This is our first new ride as DVC OR AP.

AP used here as guinea pigs. Last round but test subjects none the less. Media aren’t, they are given rides to get free publicity. They want it running well at that point. So AP come before media.

I know there is it of things to get right here, and summer crowds REALLY ramp up July 1st, but I think they are making a big mistake here.

With a lot of bad press about the lines, they need to get Tiana's up and running for all guest before summer season. That means by June.

AP and CM should be May, full service starting JUNE.

The amount of pressure that will take off the other rides cannot be understated.

We were able to preview DCA Ariel's under sea adventure in February and the official opening date was June 11. We filled out a short survey afterwards. Just an example of timing.

One of the bloggers thinks something starting in June, as all CM availability for the MK is blocked starting on or around 6/1/24 (I believe it's their Maingate availability). Possibly CM previews. But again, just speculation, but since no other park is blocked for CM's, it could indicate something.

Which is a slap in the face of the memorial day crowds who only get to go there once in a blue moon. Couldn't fight to open it a week earlier for a major holiday?

Also there’s a possibility that they want to do a surprise open if everything is going well (or open for AP/DVC loyalists to reduce pressure on other lines *and* juice direct DVC or AP sales).

Tron "soft opened" 3/20 - 4/2 for limited days/hours after previews ended leading up to the actual opening on 4/4. That could also happen for Tiana.
