Today's plan of attack is the Magic Kingdom in the morning and EPCOT in the afternoon and evening.

Today we were up by 6:00 am. I never did get a wake up call from Mickey the whole trip. That was a bit of a disapointment.

After yesturday's dismal breakfast of Mickey cookies, we decided we better eat at the Beach Club before we head out to the MK. We discovered the wonderful breakfast offerings at Beach's and Cream! :D They have a great breakfast set up. You help yourself to cold cereal, fruit, muffins, bagel, mickey donuts, and much more. We ate here for every remaining breakfast of the trip! All 4 of us ate for under $20. I thought that was a very reasonable price for Disney. With our stomachs full, we headed off for the MK. We made it to the park by 8:15. We waited at the Liberty square bridge for the rope "drop". I like how Disney no longer allows guests to run full tilt to the rides. It is so much safer for everyone when they walk the guests to the rides. My Mom watched Alex so me and Robin could ride some of the rides. We tried to get a fastpass for Splash Mountain but the machine said that we already had an outstanding fastpass!?! The park just opened! Oh well. We road Spash Mounitain with no wait. We then road Big Thunder with no wait. We then made our way over to Mickey's Toon Town Fair. We say Mickey's house and Minnie's house. Alex really enjoyed these. We then went to the Toon Town Hall of Fame. We were able to meet Tigger, Pooh, and Eyore again. We ended up buying two of the pictures that the CM's take of you. We decided to ride the railroad around the park a time and a half. We got off at main street and decided we better head over to the Wilderness Lodge for our 12 pm PS at the Whispering Canyon Cafe.

We had about a 15 minute wait for the boat to take us over. It was a nice ride and I enjoyed the scenery on the way. We made it in plenty of time for the PS and were seated quickly. We all had the Cowpoke Pork Sandwich and this was the only meal of the trip we all enjoyed the food! :) We had a great server and good service. After lunch we checked out the lobby and gift shop. It was a beautiful hotel! I would like to stay there some day. We took the boat ride back to the MK and Robin and I re-entered the park to see if the pictures from this mornings character greet in Toon Town were ready. They were not due to some equipment problems. We decide to head back to the Beach Club.

Robin and Alex are tired, so they decide to take a nap while my Mom and I return to EPCOT. We agree to meet up for dinner.

My Mom and I walk over to EPCOT and head for Future World. We hit the land first and ride Living with the land, which I always enjoy. We next go to journey into imagination. We both disliked the changes that have been made to this ride. Bring back Figment!! We them headed for universe of energy. I like the changes that have been made. It's very funny and entertaining. We next hit spaceship earth. this is always a favorite. We then head for mouseworks to check out the souvieners. We make it to ice station cool. I talked my Mom into trying Beverly!! :) She was not happy with me. <IMG WIDTH="15" HEIGHT="15" SRC="/infopop/emoticons/icon_redface.gif" alt="red face"> I ended up trying them all and some were pretty good!

By this time it was getting close to our PS time at 6:00 pm at the Garden Grille character dinner. We were a little early, so we sat on the benches next to the resturant and rested our very sore feet. Robin and Alex were right on time and we were seated close to our PS time. I had told the CM when I checked in that I wanted a lower level table. While we were eating, we noticed a buring smell. It was making us all a little sick. It was bothering our server as well. I guess there was someting rubber stuck some where and was buring. Maintence was working on fixing it. The smell did seem to go away by the end of the meal. The best part of the meal was the pastry with apple thingy (sorry, I don't remember what it wsa called) that was soooo good! :)

By this time my Mom was tired and offered to take Alex back to the room again so that Robin and I could have some time together! After some hearty thankyous we headed to test track. All the fastpasses were already gone for the night so we entered the standby line. The posted wait was 75 minutes! After standing in line fo 15 minutes without moving, we decided the singles line was the way to go. We were on the ride with in 15 minutes! This ride was fantastic! It was a liitle cold when you do the run outside, but still it was great! Don't miss this one!

We decided to stick around for illuminations. We walked the world showcase from Mexico over to France. We decided instead of staking out a good spot to watch the show, we would stop in France and get pastries! ;) I had a chocolate mousse and Robin had a napoleon. We walk towards the bridge between France and UK. We had a so-so spot. But not bad since we got the spot at 9:15! We watched the show and Robin LOVED it. I, however, was disapointed. After it ended I said, "is that it !?!" After hearing about people staking out spots for hours to watch it, I guess I thought it would be more impressive or something. I guess each their own. We walked back to the Beach Club and got ready for bead and were in bed before 10:00 pm! The Beach Club is the best! :D

Isn't it fun when you can get a newbie to try Beverly? :D

It's a great feeling to know about something like the TT singles line. I bet you learned about it here on the DIS, didn't you? :)

Thanks for sharing your trip with us. :)

LisaTx,

You are correct! ;) I am proud to say I learned all of the best tips here on the DIS! This site is so valuable to both people who have never been to Disney before, and also those of us who *thought* they knew everything there is to know!

Melissa :)
