Does this take place on the Fantasy? Do I get tickets from Guest Services?

I missed it on my last cruise on the Magic because I forgot.

No, it's not on the Fantasy. I am trying to figure out if it's still on the smaller ships.

No free ticketed event for for tea with Alice. But two FYI's

There are now ticketed events for a few of the character/ Princess meet and greets. I feel they are doing this to cut down the wait times for the more popular meet and greets (Princess gathering and Disney Junior) . These events are free but you need to get you tickets (I would do this the first day as soon as you board). The information will be listed in the Navigator. You can pick up a Navigator in the terminal of download one with an app that you can put on an smartphone.

There are a number of threads right now discussing the ticketed meet and greets:

Also on the Fantasy there is a Tea With the Princesses it is a paid event and quite $$ but the girls get a dress and a doll (boys get a dress up outfit) here is a link for info from the Disney page:

I can't find anywhere showing the day of the Royal Tea. I set sail in one week on the Disney Fantasy and am thinking about taking my daughter to this IF it's on her actual birthday (Friday, the 24th). I am splurging on a few things for her already throughout the cruise, but if this particular event lands on her actual birthday, it might make it extra special for her.

Does anyone know the day?

Thanks!

We are booked for the Royal Tea on our cruise in a few weeks. It is on the last day at sea.

Friday is Castaway Cay days for the Fantasy so there is almost no chance of it happening. There are very few events scheduled during the day on the ship.

We are booked for the Royal Tea on our cruise in a few weeks.

It is on the last day at sea.

One thing that didn't make a lot of sense to us is this...they give each girl at the tea a nice, fancy princess autograph book. But since the tea is the last sea day, they can't get a lot of autographs in it. If you're signed up prior to embarkation, the autograph book should be left in your room - like the castaway club gift - and if you sign up onboard, they should give it to you then. This way, you have the whole cruise to get autographs in it.

We splurged and took both our kids, DD7 and DS9, to the Royal Tea when we cruised in August. They both had a great time.

To begin with each child is introduced to Lady Chamomile and she presents them with either a tiara (girls) or sword (boys).

Then they were escorted to the table where more goodies were waiting. For girls: Cinderella doll, musical jewelry box, charm bracelet, charm necklace, fancy autograph book, pen. For boys: shield, Duffy bear wearing, drawstring backpack, lanyard, autograph book, pen. Also at the table is a cookie on their plate with their name on it.

There's a whole production with Lady Chamomile, Chef Brûlée, and 3 princesses - Cinderella, Belle & Tiana. Even the serving of food was a big deal.

Each princess came around to the tables to give gifts to the kids - charms for the girls and pins for the boys - and sign autographs.

Then more singing followed by dancing with all the kids. On the way out a photo each child got their picture taken with all the princess.

And later in the cruise this photo showed up in the stateroom, in a nice keepsake (faux leather) folder. Oh yeah, there were Shutters photographers taking pics throughout too.

That was EXACTLY the information I was looking for. Thank you for being so detailed and specific in your breakdown and showing all that was included, particularly for both genders! This helped me decide to sign up our five-and-a-half-year-old, who loves the princesses and the attention they give him. I was still swallowing hard on that exorbitant price tag but my husband, who apparently was born without the cheap gene, saw your post of what was involved and said, "Definitely." So, after perusing your post a few more times, I'm on board, too. :)
Again, thank you!

I'm glad I could help. They really do shower tons of attention on the kids. It's a relatively small group, I think just 8 tables with 4-8 at each. It may only last for an hour and a half, but my kids are still talking about it 2 months later.

This is almost the identical experience to a Tea Party the have at the Grand Floridian at WDW. We did that for my daughter's 6th birthday and I still look back on the experience fondly. 5-6 is the perfect age for this!

Do you have pictures of the necklace, bracelet, charms, and pins? Also, I see the charge for bringing an extra child, but what about an extra adult? We'll be sailing with my Mom, and I was thinking that I could take DD (5, almost 6 when we sail) and Granny for an extra special girl's day. TIA!

Can you book this ahead of time or do you have it do it while onboard? We have 3 little girls who will love it and I'd rather book it now if possible. thanks

I just looked on our cruise (May)...it did not pop up for me because we have no kids under 15...there must be an age range to be able to sign up...guesing 12 and under?

Thanks, I just looked at I see it on our cruise, but it must be booked already, it won't let me add it, bummer
