Day 1
The alarm clock goes off at 4AM and we frantically get ready and load the car. By 5 we're off and have an uneventful ride down I95. Stop at my mother's house in NC and after a nice visit and good night's rest it's away we go again. I let Judy drive most of the way and we make great time, she has a major leadfoot. In no time we're pulling into the Disney road system. I now find out that the roads leading to the All Stars aren't marked as well as the others and drive in circles for 15 min. We finally pull into Movies around 3:30 and go check in. Check in goes smoothly and we head to our room. We had requested close to the busses, but ended up in Mighty Ducks 3 which is fairly far from them.(we find out soon that it's closer to walk and catch the bus at Music) After getting settled we decide on Epcot for the evening.
We start over towards World Showcase until Alex remembers the Mickey Tag game in the Innoventions Bldg. We figure if we let him play awhile then he'd be a little more pacified for the rest of the evening. For those with little ones this is a neat little video game that is played by four players that is great for the youngins.
Now we're on our way to WS. In England we decided to pick Alex up one of the passports and work on getting his stamps. We get around to the US pavillion and realize it's getting close to Illuminations so we go stake out a good spot. I would've liked to check out the Candlelight Processional, but the crowd was amazing so we couldn't see. We get a good spot over by Mexico and wait for the show. Not too crowded here so we can see it all and I know why I love this so much. Next to Fantasmic this is my fav pyrotechnics show at WDW. When it ends we herd out with the rest to meet the bus and only have to wait one bus to head back. We make it back and head right to bed, tomorrow's gonna be a long one
