Single parent runDisney half marathon

Have any single parents done any runDisney events? I'm thinking of signing up for one in 2017, but unsure of what I'd do with my son while I ran. He'll be 10 at that point, he's very well behaved, but I really don't have anyone else to go with us. He has some anxiety problems, so leaving him in the hotel wouldn't be something we could even think about.

Just curious if anyone has had a similar problem and what they did.

Are you doing the 5k or a longer one? I know there is a family 5k, do you think he could do that one with you?

I have had friends use Kid's Night Out, and had great experiences with it.
