[Sighs] It's Kind Of Depressing, but I Don't Mind

So, of course, we've noticed that the weather isn't the same as it used to be. Mostly because of global warming.
When I think about it, it's kind of depressing. The weather is too warm for it to snow, so a lot of local skii mountains and events have to spend a lot of money on snow MAKING machines. Kind of depressing. I don't like the snow, but we don't get near as much as we used to. We used to miss school all the time because of the cold, and the snow. Last year, we had one snow storm, but it was on a weekend. We missed school once because of a snow threat. It never go too cold, and we were in our shorts in March.

I'm just finding it depressing, because as a kid, I loved the snow. I loved to play in it.
Anyways, I don't entirely mind, as I love the warmth and hate the snow now.

Yeah. It is a huge problem that needs to be addressed, or more then just snow will be disappearing in the future.

But, I'm glad there's no snow, because I hate it.

Eh. It doesn't snow here, anyway. We've only had significant amounts of snow twice in the... 12? years I've lived here. Those were over 6 years ago. It still gets pretty darn cold, even without the snow!

Actually, we watched An Inconvenient Truth by Al Gore in school. It was interesting but all most people got out of it was we are going to die in 50 years.

Man, I really miss the snow. I used to love it soo much, and I haven't seen it ONCE this year. It doesn't feel like a real New England winter around here until like, mid to late January.

its December and we have a quarter inch of snow on the ground. 10 years ago we had snow banks above 4 ft.

the problem is, most americans are talk no action.

i guess I've never really even thoght to much about this. I certainitly would liek a lil more snow---a white christmas would have been nice. we had a snowday thsi year but it ahrdly snowed. I guess i never but 2 and 2 together no snow is because of global warming msot likely. makes sense now.

I usually am really hating snow by this time, but our area hasn't gotten any. Im kinda missing it now. and, like every place around us is getting a ton of it. every storm keeps missing us, which kinda frustrates me. we're getting rain, which is really weird in late december-early january for us.

Most people who responded to this thread, have hardly gotten any snow this year.
With the exception of Kim.

Honestly, I remember the worst of snow storms. I remember the snow storm in February a few years back. We were out of school for like a week.

We never get any snow, so there's not really anything out of the ordinary here. We have been getting tons of rain lately though.

It usually gets pretty cold here in Florida. December is almost over and it hasnt even gotten to 50 degrees yet I dont think.
