Perfect Storm, 6 Feet Apart, My Sisters Keeper
How has no one said "The Iron Giant" yet? It is the one movie that makes my husband cry every single time!
Phenomenon.
with John Travolta

This gets me too, every time. It starts when Andy’ mum walks into his room and it’s empty. And I just can’t stop the tears.Toy Story 3. When they say goodbye to Andy driving away. Every. single. time.
When that movie came out I had a yellow lab that was dying of cancer. My DW and I were deciding on what movie to see and I refused to see Marley because, just watching the trailers, I knew the dog died. Couldn't do it, still haven't seen it.
Sorry, "spoiler alert".
I watched that once, NEVER again! We got it free when we bought our first DVD player, a million years ago. It's still sealed in plastic.Stepmom with Susan Sarandon and Julia Roberts
A moderately mediocre movie, with the biggest gut punch ending! The Mist
My Mom's favorite film...a film sooooo not politically correct today...was Imitation of Life. I watched it with her once, rolling my eyes, but by the end when Mahalia Jackson comes on to sing "Trouble in the World" I was *sobbing.*
I will say that the one "dog dies in this movie" that I would recommend is "Art of Racing in the Rain". I absolutely loved the book - the movie held pretty true to the story and actually fixed what I thought was the book's biggest flaw. The ending is actually sort of uplifting. This is one I won't watch either. I try to avoid animal movies because I find them too hard to get over. A couple of others I won't watch - A Dogs Purpose, Red Dog, Warhorse.
My DW and I were floored by the ending to TS3, just sobbing in the theater - our kids were in elementary school. Happy to report to other parents - reality wasn't like that. our oldest just started college and it's been nothing but pride and joy to see him thriving on his own.Brian's Song, Ghost
I've never seen Toy Story 3. DD was graduating from high school/going off to college that year. All my friends said "don't see it!" so I didn't.
