Does DVC have the right to increase points for a night when ever they want? I do notice some dates change from year to year but I don’t think I’ve seen a point chart that is more than in the previous year?

Clarification: By “point chart catching up” I meant rebalancing of the point chart so that week 52 requires more points to book (while discounting other time periods) so the overall point total for a resort remains the same.

SSR has huge lead at 60% and Aulani (sub) distant second at 21%… although I am drawing the conclusion that there are a lot more owners of SSR SAPs than there are of others!

Vote casted! Very interesting thread I totally missed. It's not even a fair contest because Aulani subsidized is such a tiny subset of the overall Aulani ownership while SSR is the largest DVC resort that is actually sold out. They're also apples and oranges IMO because most people own SSR to primarily use at other resorts at 7 months while more Aulani owners probably use their points to actually stay at Aulani. I know I certainly fall in that category, especially for the hard to book SV hotel rooms. So many SSR owners say things like "I've never actually stayed at SSR." I don't think Aulani owners say the same.

I am banning myself from the resale sites. I have found that I have no willpower and will end up owning at every resort if I don't stop looking at contracts.

With that being said, I would still like to find a small BWV contract...... :-)

Price on you contract is so down to earth! That VDH “price-bubble” either popped or you found a great deal!
