Return car night before early flight?

Our flight leaves MCO at 7AM on a Sunday morning. We will spend the night before at an airport hotel. Should we return the car the night before? How late at night can you drop off cars, or how early in the morning? Do most of the hotels near the airport have shuttles to and from the airport? What have others done that has worked well?

Sure you can return your car early. Just be careful that it doesn't change your rate. For example if your rental period qualified you then for the cheaper weekly rate. But if returning the car still keeps you in the last days rental period it shouldn't be a problem. I have flown out at 6 and returned the car at 4:30 in the morning and not had a problem.
