Yes BWV side of the Boardwalk is open as is the feature pool (Luna Park).

Already moved once from AKL to BC for our late October trip. Wonder how long I will be on hold this time...

Waited about 30 minutes. CM offered YC after telling me she would check to see prices. (That was a little disturbing because I just assumed they would change me for the same price.) Anyway took YC for the same price. She said BWI might still reopen by October but I didn't want to take a chance of getting something out of the boardwalk area.

AOA was August 12 - now November 1
Beach Club was August 24 - now TBD
BWI was October 1 - now TBD
Polynesian was August 12 - now October 4

Note: when originally announced Disney said all resort reopening dates were subject to change and with the new revised dates are all are still subject to change. It really depends on guests bookings to open additional capacity.

Looking at hotel #4 for my August trip. Destino Tower to Copper Creek to Poly and most likely now to my own house. It was a fun ride while it lasted.

Yeah it's always been about demand and bookings. If enough demand isn't there then reopening doesn't make sense. Still that stinks for people that have been moved a lot. I know a bunch of people with DT or AKL resy's were moved to Poly or BWI. We got moved to CR bc our Aug. 4 date was too early for Poly or BWI anyways and now I'm kinda glad it worked out that way.

FYI, Had a beach club reservation for end of September, just called and they moved us the the Beach Club Villas (Price Matched). only about a 5 minute hold time..

How many people and what room category?

Curios about this as well. We are currently booked for a BC wood/garden view, but I'm not a big fan of the studio and 1 BR villas due to the pull out sofa. I would rather go somewhere with 2 actual beds for our party of 5.
