Going out on a limb here, but anyone ever go dress shopping while at port in Bahamas? If there were some possible stores close by, i would consider taking DD who is graduating in May.

Forgive me, but I'm confused. Why would you be taking your husband who is graduating (college, I'm assuming) prom dress shopping in the Bahamas? My opinion on travel is you should look to do things that are unique to the location and go prom dress shopping at home.

If a man is graduating and wants to wear a prom dress while doing so, then let him ;-) Sizing might be difficult, but not impossible :) Either they have modern ideas on dressing, or maybe it's a typo.
The OP has cruised several times, and could be very familiar with Nassau as a lot of cruiseships go there. And going dress shopping can be the outside the tourist-trap-box .

Back to the OP, according to google below stores sell prom/formal dresses.
