Hi guys, looking for costume ideas for this years halloween party.

No picture yet, but we are going the very first day of the Halloween party (it just so happen to fall during our vacation). I'm going as Han Solo (bought a vest and holster, no gun obviously), my wife is wearing a tank top Chewbacca shirt, and our little girl is going as Rey (4 year old).

2014: Move it Shake it Dancers

Bimbetts/silly girls & Gaston (these costumes were made by a girl who used to work costuming on the show! AND ARE MY ALL TIME FAVORITE)

Fairy Friends! Rosetta, Terrance, Peri & Zarina

Main Street Trolley Show girls (green, blue & purple costumes...this was technically the 24hr event BUT we wore them again for halloween)

Cruella, Peter Pan (homemade by Mom lol, even the SHOES) and Tink (cosplay made!)

Alice & White Rabbit (Mad Hatter we just HAPPENED to sit beside for parade)

No pictures yet... Just starting to construct... But we're doing monsters inc. My two boys will be Mike and Sully (pretty much just t-shirts and hats I'm making), DH is a CDA agent, complete with yellow backpack since someone needs to carry our stuff, and I'll be Boo (just pjs - not monster outfit). We want to dress up... But still want to be comfortable in the heat and on rides.

ETA: REALLY hoping they have the Monsters dance party again... My guys are looking forward to dancing with their counterparts!

This will be my first MNSSHP! I'm so excited! Planning to go as Wendy and my 3 year old son will either be Peter Pan or a Pirate (likely Pirate because I got him a Pirates League appt for that afternoon)

This is my 2nd WDW trip and 1st during the Halloween party (did the Christmas party last year) and ‘kinda’ dressing up. I ordered a Maleficent shirt off ebay that I’m wearing with some black leggings and I got the Maleficent hat at Disney last year (the one that covers nearly all your face and has the horns). That will be my ‘costume’ this year. Will sure make for an interesting photo with the Dwarfs LOL

Thanks a lot for the pics! we are going on oct 27th to our first MNSSHP it is easy to figure out our girls costumes (10 at the time and 7) but my wife and I can use some ideas, particularly as Disney has different rules for kids and adults costumes

I'm in the process of making an Anna costume just like this for my first MNSSHP on Sept 2nd. My mom is disneybounding as Olaf.

I'm hoping to put together a Rey costume. Don't have a pattern or anything and that has been the hold up. Once I get back from vacation this weekend I'll go into super mode for a month.

I'm going as Rey with a couple upgrades to the costume that can be bought at the store. I will be using some medical wrap for the arm wraps, an actual leather band for the wrist instead of the foam one that comes with the costume, and an actual bag with double belt instead of the foam one with the costume. I'd love to bring her bow staff but I figured Disney would not allow that so I'm not buying one. The only thing I haven't decided is if I want to buy the hood part of the costume so I don't have to worry too much about my hair but I think it would be too hot to wear that. I like the costume because it is light weight which will be nice for the heat in September.
