I would still say (from our experience) that going to Spoodles at opening would probably provide a good chance of walk up seating.
I think we last ate there for my birthday in June.
Steak or no steak, I could choke down a meal there any day of the week.
It was funny last time too because there was one main chef (? a white coated kitchen person ) was yelling out the orders to the other chefs (whatever ).
We were wondering if it would get as interesting as Chef Ramsey (Hell's Kitchen). Centainly would not have expected it. But it would have been quite the show!
