Despite feeling lightheaded, I made it to Le Cellier without passing out or anything. Just as we were approaching the check-in podium, we started to feel a few raindrops but thought nothing of it at first--it was helping to cool us down.
We checked in about a half an hour early and then walked up to the restaurant to take a seat outside and wait to be called.
We had only been sitting a couple of minutes when the rain started to come down a little harder. Luckily, we got inside before the torrential downpour started!
We had to wait a little while longer, since we had checked in early, but we still ended up being seated ten minutes early. By that time, I was feeling a lot better!
First, they brought out the three types of bread that they served. We enjoyed the pretzel bread the most.
For our appetizers, my fiancé got the Canadian cheddar cheese soup, and I got the spicy sausage with polenta.
For our entrees, my fiancé ordered the New York strip steak, and I originally got the potato gnocchi with pesto sauce. I say originally because when our waitress brought it out, I took two bites of it and couldn't eat it. The pesto sauce was so overwhelming that I couldn't taste the gnocchi. I wasn't going to say anything, but our waitress (who was awesome by the way) saw the look on my face and offered to bring me something else instead. I asked to get the salt-crusted prime rib instead, which was sooooo much better.
My fiancé's strip steak
The disgusting gnocchi
The yummy prime rib replacement--forgot to take a picture until I had already cut it up, so excuse its appearance!
For dessert, he got the Smores, and I got the chocolate whisky cake. Both were very good! Also, this was the first restaurant that recognized our engagement, other than a verbal congratulations! I love the way they decorated our plate!

Overall, I very much enjoyed Le Cellier and would like to return again...but with it becoming two table service credits next year, I am not sure if we'll do that or not.
After Le Cellier, my fiancé ran back over to Japan to pick up my bracelet while I headed back to the Beach Club where we were going to catch a bus back to the Magic Kingdom area.
I took a couple of night time shots of the Boardwalk on the way.
My fiancé caught up with me rather quickly, and we hopped the first MK area bus that came along which was going to the Grand Floridian.
We had to cut through the beautiful lobby of the GF to get to the monorail.
A little while later, we got off the monorail at the TTC, walked back to our rooms, and went to bed.
And now, I am finally caught up until this morning! I'll give more details in the next post, but the general plans for today were DHS in the morning, pool time in the afternoon, and MK for dinner.
Thanks to everyone for reading and look for today's update later tonight!
