I come by often to keep up to date on all the happenings here on the thread - but I just don't get the time to write!!!!

So excited for our cruise - not too long now! Keep reminding the kids that the time will fly with the end of the year school events, a busy summer, and beginning of the year school events! Scheesh! Before we know it, we'll be boarding!!! Yeah!

Do any of you computer savy people know how to link to the threads that specifically talk about our group's organized events? I can't find them all and I forget what I signed up for - sorry "mommy brain"! Geesh - cut me a break... between The Roaming Knome, FE, Champagne Girls, Dis meet (anything else????) I'm so confused!!! Please help - quick links would be great!!!!

I've been spending my time looking at some special outfits for the kiddos. Trying to decide to buy or sew my own. Anyone else addicted to tiny tot boutique items? Does your family do the matching shirt thing? Would love to but I think the HUBS would veto it How about custom pillowcases or umbrella markers? People online are just SO creative!!!! On our last cruise with DCL, I made the kids surprise baskets with trinkets and toys from "Mickey". Does anyone do that too? How are you making your trip "magical"? Would love to hear your ideas Please share!!!!

Hi Cricket! I just joined as well. Getting very excited! We have two girls 3 and 8. This is our second Disney cruise so we know a little, but there are a lot of people here who are veterans and can answer almost any question you can throw at them.

I put a request in to join the FB group. We are on this cruise. We booked it almost a year ago. We will celebrate our 25th Wedding anniversary onboard on October 15. So the liklihood of us changing this cruise is slim to none.

Our anniversary is also the 15th... eight years for us. Congratulations on 25!

I posted us on the thread a while ago, but then it seemed we may have to reschedule due to DS baseball (even in Oct). Well unfortunately DS had to have Tommy John surgery (pitchers elbow) so he is out for the season. Good news is that we are going to have all the mickey bars he can eat.

are there any others traveling with older teens? ds will be 17, he turns 18 day after we get home.

Also does anyone have experience with the 18-21 year olds on DCL? we are looking at a graduation cruise 2014 and now can't decide between DCL and the Oasis of the seas.

just over 8 months we are so excited.....

My DS will also be 17 at the time we cruise, although he'll be a junior.

Oh yeah!! We are also going to WDW for 7 days before the cruise and will be staying at the AOA! Will anyone else be going to WDW before the cruise?

We'll be staying at the All Stars Movies, but just Friday night!

Yes, List #2 is still open, with you 2, we will have 5 rooms! HeddyRuth...please give me names, ages, and gender and I will post list #2. I will leave it open until we reach 16 rooms (15 to exchange with) or September 1, whichever is first.

With regards to the roaming gnome, I am concerned that the magnet may not work on the doors on floor 11 and 12. We cruised there before and were unable to use standard magnets because of the wood overlay. I also did not see magnets on any of the other doors. does anyone else know about this?

Sure! We had 12508 on the dream before (mirror of your room) and really enjoyed the larger balcony.
