new magic bands

Has anyone received the new magic bands for their trips in January?

I have not- I'll be there Jan 4-9 and I received the original style.

We received old bands for our trips 1/13 and 1/15.(split stay)

So the MBs are different? We just got ours today because we became AP holders and the shape is different.

I have another week or so before I have to complete my order for our upcoming Feb trip. I hope to hear someone other than AP holders has received the new style before I finish my order!

Where did yours ship from? Mine shipped from Florida and before they shipped from Tenn. Just curious. Haven't got them yet.

well mine is also shipping from florida and i do remember thinking why are they shipping from there interesting but i don't remember when that was tenn sounds right but not sure

We got ours for our split stay Jan 21-28 they shipped from FL and are the old style. Between 2 bands each and 4 people we have every color all old style. I was indifferent but curious which we would get.

Thanks for updating. I am going to wait until almost the deadline and then submit my order. I suspect it is going to take a while for them to run out of the old style.

Not really. Disney said the new ones would ship in Jan 2017 not that they would be for January trips. So, once they start shipping them in the New Year then people should start reporting they are receiving the new ones.

I live in Indiana and mine have always shipped from Memphis, Tennessee.

My first magic bands shipped from Tennessee and I was very confused. after that, they came from FL.
