Great review of the service on the sidebar. Really hoping it gets extended beyond the trial period in time for our January trip! Would love it if they introduced a length of stay fare while they were at it.

I think it will go away after the Holidays. I think it is a form of crowd control for buses, security etc

I hope it stays even after the Holidays... but I believe it will stop on Jan 7th.. That's what I read yesterday (please don't ask me where) Jan 7th is the end of the 30 day trial.

Yeah, somewhere in this thread it mentions that is since it started 12/7 it should end 1/7, if it's 30 days. I hope it keeps going.

Here's a question.....if you buy wine in Epcot, and you pick it up in Epcot then walk back to the in park bus then do you get to take the bottle into MK/AK/DHS?

ETA: I've never bought wine at Epcot and didn't know if the holding area was in or out of the park gates.

If you are found with it, it will be disposed of. Bottles of wine are only allowed on EPCOT.

CMs have said that overall the crowds are low for the buses, but we rode a few buses yesterday that had 15 or 16 people on board.

We have thoroughly enjoyed the new service. We have visited at least 3 parks each day, and several days have even made it to all 4 parks. I hope it sticks around, and I've made sure to share our positive experience with every CM we've seen.

If it does stick around, I think it will change the way our family does meal reservations. Other than a few TS "musts", we probably will not leave the parks for meals...it's far easier to just hop into a different park (we really enjoyed bypassing security and the tapstyles!). Last night we were able to pick up a last-minute Tusker House dinner reservation even though we were at MK because the express bus drops off right beside the restaurant!

Hope it stays! Bought Express at POP Century with credit card for $24 at checkin was reminded it would only be good for 7 straight days we were only here for 5 great for us.
Did 4 parks in one day. Dec. 20
AK for reservation at 8:00 at Tusker House, rode safari, did gorilla walk.
HS, Rock&roll was shut down got picture with Chewbacca, had fast pass for Toy Story, and Star Tours saw march of the order, and the other stage show sorry can't remember name right now, line at Rock&Roll to long to wait now.
MK did Buzz, stitch, Photo with Gaston, Left park for dinner at Whispering Canyons, back to MK fast pass for Mine train.
Epcot this ride on express was the busiest, and not as pleasant there was someone in a wheel chair and one group that complained and were not nice at all. Bus was almost ready to go when the person in wheel chair came around corner. When we got to Epcot they waited till everyone was off bus to escort you to the park. My family was very uncomfortable with the way the complaining group were still talking.
Over all we had a great experience with the Express some times we were the only ones on bus, CM were great buses great. I found later in the evening it was busiest. PART of me missed walking in and out of parks front entrance but I did not miss security part.

I emailed guest services to tell them how much we'd love to have this available for our Feb trip. If they hear from enough people, hopefully they will extend!

There's no way they can guarantee transportation after 8pm that day, traffic gets insane

We used it today for first time from MK to HS. Bus trip was about 15 minutes and just us on the bus.

They told us wrong times 2x and we had to wait for a third bus but they gave us multiple FPs to use at MK before 12/31 to make up for it.

Had a long chat with several CMs relaying all the feedback and comments mentioned on here.

Love the service...

Just back last night. We loved it and it made hopping much easier! My only piece of advice is that when you purchase it, make sure they link it to your magic bands and MDE. Check your MDE while you are there and make sure it is LINKED! The CM at Epcot was having trouble with the system, and it took us three trips to different guest services desks to get it straightened out. We did get some extra FP's for the trouble though. Three of our cards were activated but not linked.

I would suggest not linking them at all. The CMs that we have spoken to said it causes issues and not to link them at all. Ours are not linked and are on a separate card. We could let anyone else use them if we wanted and they never even checked to see that we had hoppers.

Our third day of using it with no hiccups other than getting the wrong times from one park to another on the 1st day.

This is funny to me, because a lot of CMs (myself included) were told we weren't allowed to sell it without linking it to existing media that's already attached to an AP or a ticket with park hopping entitlements.

Makes sense, we weren't given the option to not link when we purchased it. Having everything on our MB works best for us, anyway, because it eliminates the need to carry extra cards/media.

It looks like Express Transportation will continue at least through Marathon weekend. Advisories have gone up saying that the service will start operations that day (Jan 8th) at 2pm to not have any conflicts with general road closures.

I wondered how they would work it with Marathon Weekend. Many of the backstage areas you get picked up for this are part of the race courses.

Am I the only one that finds it beyond annoying that someone working in GS wouldn't know that basic of information?
I get that the CM work lots of places
I get that they can't know everything but surely there is a list of the bare minimum somewhere. Hell, put it on an index card and laminate it and attach it to each computer!
