My Disney Experience...new app

There is a new app out. It's called My Disney Experience. I think it will be great fun for those going soon. We aren't going until October but I did just book lunch for our first full day.

It seems to have a lot in common with their Mobile Magic app. You have to log in with an account to see the wait times and probably some other stuff (I haven't explored it too thoroughly yet) on this new app, whereas Mobile Magic at least gives limited wait time details for free.

Our family is going to playing around with this app. My 6 yr old is already exploring the maps and planning our next trip for May 2013 on it.

It was free on my iphone although I did have to log on just as you do on the Disney site. Did not have to log on the second time.

It was released today just for Apple devices. Android devices coming soon. Downloaded it and check it out briefly and I must say it is very impressive and a nice upgrade from Mobile Magic

I just got this app on my I-pad. Seems pretty cool, but was a little glitchy, after I spent few minutes checking it out, the map didn't change...stayed on DTD, no matter what I was looking at, or what park I was exploring.
I just got a droid, so i too hope this comes out soon for that. I'll take my I-pad on my trip, but not into the parks.

Oddly they just made the mobile magic app appear in the iPad store. Hopefully the new one will show up soon.

I checked last night and it was available for both iPhone and iPad here.

Although I used the WDW mobile website a few times in park...it worked ok!
