Wednesday - slept in (well at least Annie and Holly did) I was up at 5:30 - having coffee on the beach. I really enjoy this time of day, especially here at WDW.

Room service today for breakfast - I had the Tonga Toast (excellant) Annie ahd the Mickey Waffles and Holly had a muffin. The food was very hot, nad served very quickly. total bill $39.00. I did not think that was too expensive. Funny how you start to thing what is reasonable after only a few days here!!

Off to Blizzard Beach - arrived at 9:45 and already long lines. this park was very crowded. We first did the Summitt Plummit - we did not enjoy it - too rough. did a couple other rides and most swam in the wave pool. Lunch was not very good. Took a float around the "river and that too was too crowded to enjoy. Left around 3:00

Showered and dressed for Downtown Disney. Took the bus. We really enjoyed this area - had dinner at the Rainforest after a 1 hour wait. Spent most of the time in the World of Disney buying all our souveniers. Took bus back - kind of a long wait

in room at 11:00 - bog day tomorrow - Discovery Cove. Can't wait.

Summit Plummit looks a little too scarey for me! I'm glad you enjoyed the wave pool. :)

I am curious, would you go back to Blizzard Beach? I am surprised that it was so crowded. Any guesses as to why? Thanks!

MJS:

I do not think we would go back. The slides start at the top of the "mountain". To get there you had to take the "ski lift" which always had a 30 minute wait, or take the steps - too many to count. Once you got to the top, you then had to wait in line for the slides. We thought the layout could have been better.

Regarding the crowds, the only things I can figure are it was the only water park open - River Country was closed for the season and Typhoon Lagoon was closed for rehab. The crowds everywhere were heavy, due in large part I believe to the New Jersey Schools being closed that week and the influx of those families.

Thanks for the wonderful trop report. :)
