Just got back from a trip on the Wonder....

...and there is some major stuff going on at Castaway Cay.

They had put in pilings to add more cabanas

The spot where I proposed to Christy in May has had all the beach equipment removed and survey stakes placed all over the place.
The first Picture is before and the second was from this past weekend.

Looks like they are adding bathroom facilities to the Scuddles Cove.

They are adding a 10" pipeline for something, and look out in the distance and see all of the pilings in the water they have added...

When researching about weddings on CC, we were told that the wedding location on CC is going to move due to refurbishments happening on the island.

The work by the dock is because the new ships won't fit with the existing pier. But the rest of this is very interesting. I'll have to check out all these spots in October when I'm onboard

I hope it will be all fixed and pretty by the time we get there!

More cabanas are so they can sell more spa services in the island? They will need that with the larger ship, right? And more restroom facilities for more passengers!

I've got two guesses as to what's happening at the spot where you and Christy got engaged.
First guess - they are putting in a monument to commemorate the occasion.
Second guess - its a gift shop.
