Hi to all, I really enjoy the TR's so I just wanted to give a synopsis of our two night stay at RPR.
We spent 7 nights at WDW then came over to US/IOA. We really loved our stay at the RPR, we were in Tower 2 on the second floor all the way at the end of the hall but we liked this, it was quiet and lush tropical view out our window. I thought the staff at the hotel were so wonderful, they were so helpful and friendly. Picture of me (Caroline) in Hogwarts shirt and my sister (Donna)
The boat taxis were so good, never overly crowded and we never had to wait long at all. We did walk one evening and that was very doable and a nice walk. Loved the security check at the water taxi spot, so convient. This was our first stay on site here and would definitely do again. Our room was very clean and modern, the bathroom shower was so nice. Two thumbs up for this resort.
My daughter and I have been several times to US/IOA but we have always come over from Disney for one day visit so this was nice to have the EP for certain rides. This trip was myself, my daughter and my sister. I am not much for thrill rides but I will go on FJ, Gringotts, Mummy, and most rides that are not extreme roller coasters. My daughter (Andi)
We decided to do HHN on 10/16, we upgraded our current ticket for 63.00 a person, I thought this was a good deal, we did not splurge for EP because I hate being scared and didn't think I would even go in a house. Spoiler I did go in three houses and that was scary! I was proud of myself. We did several scare zones as well. I have to say for someone who is a big chicken, I am really glad we did HHN. My daughter and sister loved it! We were able to get in the Chainsaw Massacre, Halloween, and Ancient Tombs? Houses. Halloween was my favorite. Seeing Michael Meyers everywhere was a good fright!
We loved DA, Hogsmeade, and King Kong the best. Top rides are FJ, Spider-Man, Gringotts, Mummy, and ET. My daughter went on Hulk, RRR, Dragon Challenge solo and she liked them all.
We took advantage of the Hogwarts Express and spent time at both parks for the 2 days. DA was so nice during HHN, very empty. We had 2 day park to park tickets.
