If you've been on a Hidden Mickey hunt, how old were your children?

I'm thinking of shaking things up during our spring break trip and introduce hidden mickeys to my gals, who will be nearly 7 and 5 1/2. If you've embarked upon it (with the help of the guide book), how old were your kiddos? And what was their reaction? How quickly did they grow bored?
