I have several friends who have gone, and they all loved every minute of it. It's not a laid-back, luxurious trip, it's hard work. You'll earn your trip if she needs any kind of physical help at all.

I would definitely go! It could be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. I went in 2009 and am already saving money to go back. I highly recommend Quark Expeditions!!
