lets say-if you go to dinner. They offer a childs menu but no appetizers. Do they order one from the adults?
(I am sure this has been asked before, but when I do a search it say the server is down!! :confused3 )
TIA

I think the answer is yes they order an adult appetizer if no kids are listed but it does seem as if someone reported from a recent trip that at one restaurant they weren't allowed to.

I think most allow them to order from the adult appetizers with some giving a smaller portion.

It truly will vary from restuarant to restuarant.

FWIR, there are still some restaurants that don't have children's appetizers, and don't allow them to order an adult appetizer. If that happens to you, I'd raise that issue with the manager, since I believe they're supposed to have something available to order.
