How busy is week up to MLK?

We've usually made our trips during low times, but have accidentally hit US holidays (Thanksgiving once!) before. We're planning a week starting the marathon weekend, and leaving the Fri morning that starts MLK weekend. I'm hoping this is a very low week, like the first week of December.

What's your experience with this week? (I was able to get CAA disc on ASMo, so I'm hoping that's a good sign.)
