It would be cool if everyone could write small back stories for their characters and pm them to me, then I'll put them on here.

Melanie: Melanie Jane Black: Melanie Black grew up in a single parent home due to threats from his death eater sister, so her father had to leave and go into hiding to protect his wife and newborn. At the age of seven, however, the Black household was finally broken into and her mother (Jayne) was killed. Melanie survived only by a bit of accidental magic: she was somehow able to cast a strong enough protection charm to keep herself out of harms way. She was taken to the only family they could find, Dolores's sister's residence. For four years Mel resided there. At the age of eleven she went to Hogwarts, where she met the jokester Evan Smith, whom she befriended instantly and has had a sibling relationship with ever since. Among their group of friends also resided Georgie Toodle and Christi Smith, Evan's younger sister. For the first time since her mother's death she had people who cared about her. The summer before her fourth year her father, Callum, finally found her and kept in touch until he was killed trying to capture Greyback just days before her fifteenth birthday. Mel stayed at school during the holidays, but when summer came she was forced to go back to her relatives' place; this eventually became a problem when Voldemort returned. Because she lived with death eaters (and came from a long line of dark wizards) she knew more than she should and was nearly killed at least once. The order, thankfully, was given notice and were able to help her escape. During her seventh year it was decided that Hogwarts was not safe for Mel, this particularly being when death eaters were admitted into the school. She was moved to the Tonks residence and lived there until the final battle, where she fought and witnessed many deaths, including that of Nymphadora Tonks, whom she was relatively close to, due to a surprise attack from behind and her protection spell missing. Mel took over and dueled Bellatrix after she fell. The happiest day of her life remains to be the day she found Evan in the joke shop, hence her strong patronus. She struggles now with her brother(Evan)'s engagement to Georgie, recent break up with Corbin, and the number of people she's lost over the past six months
Remy: Remy Leroy is a twelve year old French 2nd year who has been at Hogwarts since starting schooling. He lived with his father and older sister Jolie, but only really listened to Jolie and only trusted and relied on her, he didn't really connect with his dad and never met his mum, so with her now alive and his dad dead, he doesn't relate to her pretty much at all. He was disappointed when Jolie did not switch from Beauxbatons to Hogwarts when he started school. He was sorted into Slytherin, and so most of his year turned their backs on him, because they don't like or trust Slytherins. This caused him to have no friends. This year when Jolie was one of the exchange students, he was further disappointed when Jolie went to Hufflepuff although he told her he was in Slytherin when he heard she was coming, in the hopes of getting her to finally join him. He felt like she was ignoring him, and he was afraid she'd be told the prejudices and rumors against Slytherin and she'd abandon him. Then Jean Pierre came along and how he loathed him. He felt Jean Pierre was taking his place and he was stealing Jolie from him. This only intensified as Jolie died a lot for him and such. Remy felt Jean Pierre caused her sister all this pain, suffering and death. Remy blames Jean Pierre for Jolie's death, as she was protecting him. There are only two reasons why JP is still alive: 1, Remy doesn't think Jolie would want him to be a killer so he is appeasing her, and 2, he doesn't want to give JP the chance to be with Jolie eternally in the afterlife.
Jackson: Jackson Finch-Black was born to a supposed loving couple. Freya Finch, his mother was fascinated with the dark arts and soon became involved with Voldemort, unknown to her husband. Eventually, she found out that her husband had an affair with Bellatrix and she murdered him. Bellatrix gave birth to Nagini whom is Jackson's step-sister. He is a third year at Hogwarts in Ravenclaw. On the first day of his third year he met Gabrielle McLee whom he fell in love with. He has been through quite a bit and suffered depression and torture. He is close to his adopted Mom/cousin Melanie, his girlfriend Gabrielle, his best friend Holly, and his sister Nagini.
Luke: Lucas Sullivan was born to Drew and Rebecca Sullivan. He was named after his godfather Darius, as his full name was Darius Lucarius Roric. However, many were resentful of Darius and the Sullivans for convicting all of the death eaters. When Lucas was three, the house was invaded and Drew and Rebecca Sullivan were murdered. They tried to kill Lucas as well, but thanks to accidental magic, Luke was able to keep himself hidden. When Darius and the aurors reached the house, they found it in ruins and ashes, and Luke hidden in the remains. Darius took in his godson and for the past twelve years he has raised Luke like he was his own son. Lucas is the only person besides the death eaters involved that knows what exactly happened; he remembers everything, every single detail about that night. He has refused to tell Darius or anyone what happened, and thankfully the name Sullivan is common enough that he avoided the unwanted attention of being the son of the murdered Drew and Rebecca Sullivan until this year when his identity was revealed. When Luke went to Hogwarts and was sorted into Hufflepuff instead of Gryffindor he was at first ashamed, but when Darius told him that it was his mothers house, Luke was no longer ashamed. He grew to understand why he was put there and is proud of being in Hufflepuff and being a prefect. He is a huge quidditch fan and plays seeker for the house team. He is kind, friendly, brave, hardworking, fair and loyal.
Darius: Darius Roric was born into the Most Noble and Ancient House of Roric. His story is much like Sirius Blacks; Darius was the white sheep of his family. Though not nearly as bad as the Blacks, his family was still dark and Darius didnt want to be like them. Darius was mischievous, rash, brave, loyal and chivalrous. He was in the same year as Harry Potter, and was sorted into Gryffindor. Darius instantly became best friends with another pureblood named Drew Sullivan. Darius and Drew were the best and closest of friends, they were practically inseparable. He also became good friends with Evan and later Christine Smith, Melanie Black, Georgette Toodle, and Lee Jordan and the Weasley twins. After fourth year, his parents got worse so he ran to Drews place, and Drew and his parents took him in. In the beginning of fifth year, Drew became close with a Hufflepuff girl in their year named Rebecca Fulton. Drew was immediately smitten by her, and it took him a while, but he finally won her over. Darius teased Drew mercilessly like a best friend would, but was happy for them, how could he not be? He and Drew were brothers in all but blood and he had gotten to know Rebecca and considered her a friend as well. The next year, sixth year, Drew got his revenge because Darius had fallen head over heels for Kelsey Brown, Lavender Browns more beautiful, stronger and less shallow cousin. He soon got together with her. After Dumbledores death it was decided that Rebecca was unsafe, as Rebecca was muggleborn to Drew and Darius pureblood. The three of them decided that Drew would lead Rebecca into hiding until the wars end, and Darius would help them escape. That summer, they put their plan into action, stealing away and destroying a Death Eater base at the same time. However, a friend of Rebeccas turned out to be a spy and betrayed them. Darius, Drew and Rebecca destroyed the base, but the betrayal almost cost the three friends their lives as they were attacked. Somehow, they escaped into Belgium. Darius helped Drew and Rebecca hide, but had to leave them as he knew they were looking for all three of them and wouldnt suspect them if it was just Drew and Rebecca. Back in England, Darius was confronted by his abandoned parents, who wanted him to join the Death Eaters, but he refused and escaped from them. Darius ran into a group of renegade witches and wizards, mostly defected Ministry employees or new Hogwarts graduates, which acted as a covert ops group for the Order. Darius joined their ranks to fight the war, and the next day was joined by his girlfriend Kelsey Brown. Meanwhile, by December, both Drew and Rebecca were of age, and were still so in love with each other that they wanted to be married, just in case something happened to them, so Drew proposed. Rebecca of course accepted readily without a second thought. After the New Year, Darius was gravely injured in a skirmish, and was sent out of the country to recover. He rejoined Drew and Rebecca, who were glad to see him. They begged him to marry them until at last, Darius gave in. Darius married his brother and his friend, but was all too soon called back to the front. Darius returned to Hogwarts a day or two before the battle and hid in the Room of Requirement, where he consulted his friend Evan on whether he should propose to Kelsey. Darius fought in the Battle of Hogwarts, and saw Kelsey buried under a wall and was told she was dead. After the war, Darius went back to Belgium and returned to England with Drew and Rebecca, who decided to have an actual ceremony. After that, they went to work, Drew and Darius going into the Aurors and Rebecca into Magical Law. Between the three of them, several Death Eaters were convicted and sent to Azkaban or killed. He was proud to be named godfather of Lucas and doted on him. He was devastated when Drew and Rebecca died, and took in Lucas to raise as his own, vowing to protect him. After being injured, he took on the post of DADA professor. Recently, Kelsey came back to him and Darius proposed. He is now engaged and is planning his and Kelseys wedding as she prepares to take the teaching position.
Christine: Christine Smith is a former Gryffindor and now teaches Flying. Christine was born as Evan Smiths younger sister. Christine was shy, quiet, smart, kind and a quick learner. Christine kept Evan out of trouble for his mischief and helped him come up with creative pranks and smarter and easier ways to go about them. Evan taught Christine to be just as charming as him and brought her out of her shell. Two years after her older brother left for school, Christine came to Hogwarts and was sorted into Gryffindor, and everyone was surprised when it became clear that, beside the looks, charms and intelligence, she was different than her brother, as she took school more seriously and for the most part obeyed or appeared to obey the rules. Christine became friends with Evans friends, especially Melanie Black and Georgette Toodle. In her third year, she joined the DA and became more involved in the war. At the same time her parents began breaking up and the family was thrust into the spotlight. Evan tried to take care of her as their parents were caught up in themselves and their disputes, but she saw how much stress he was under and looked after herself when she could. After her fourth year, the divorce was finalized, and later that summer her father was hospitalized for being muggleborn. Evan and Christine went back to school, but continued to rebel with some of the other students, eventually joining the group in the Room of Requirement. In the Battle of Hogwarts, Evan tried to send Christine away with the other underage students, but she snuck back when he was preoccupied. During the battle, Evan was fighting when he was attacked by death eaters. Christine had just saved his life when she stumbled and appeared to die in Evans arms. In reality, her soul was stolen from her body, and while everyone believed she was dead for the next 15 years, her soul was held captive by the witch Emerald Soulkeeper. Her soul aged, so when she was finally set free, she appeared as an adult, not as a fifteen year old girl and that has thrown her off. She has reunited with her friends and family and now teaches Flying, and is attempting to get used to being back and being an adult.
Isabella: Isabella Smith is a half French half English 4th year Ravenclaw. She was actually born Ivy Dorielle Antoinette de la Noir Scott in Paris, France. Her father John Scott was an English wizard and his real name was Terence Ivanson, however he was in hiding from his family who wanted to kill him. Her mother, Marie Delphine de la Noir was a muggle but from a rich noble family. When she was six years old, her father was killed in an accident. Neither her nor her mother had been told about magic so when she was 11 and accepted to Beauxbatons, it was assumed she was muggleborn. She was smart but shy and in school she was often called nerd or Mudblood. She didnt mind the names so much as the shunning, but she still participated in academic and quidditch competitions. This year she agreed to be an exchange student and went to Hogwarts. She joined Ravenclaw and was told not to refer to herself as a Mudblood. Everything was fine until she was Petrified by a pet basilisk. She later was revived and went back to classes. She also discovered her fathers true heritage. She was recruited by the Ravenclaw quidditch team. Then one day, her lawyer informed her that her mother had been murdered. Custody of her turned into a nasty international court case, but she was aided and adopted by her teacher Professor Evan Smith. It was then she was renamed Isabella Dorielle Smith. She briefly dated Jackson but let him go and then dated Louis until his recent death. She is currently preparing for her adoptive fathers wedding to her future adoptive stepmother. She is very smart, logical, shy, athletic, sarcastic and nice.
Veronica: Veronica Spencer is a 6th year Slytherin. She is the only child of House Spencer and is one of the few lucky enough to be born around the start of the war and live through it. She had the average childhood of a kid born into her social, political and economic status: happy, cared for, doted on, healthy, active, slightly spoiled but not to the point of ruin. At the age of eight she contracted a life-threatening disease that was going around and she went to St. Mungos, where she was fascinated and awed by the healers. She decided afterwards that she wanted to become one and thus started learning. In her Hogwarts sorting, she was a hatstall that could have gone anywhere, but the hat sorted her into Slytherin for her ambition. The decision alienated her towards other Slytherins and towards the other houses. This year she finally made friends, and met Alexei Romanov. Just after they finally admitted their feelings, she was hit by the Living Death Unforgivable curse, which renders one comatose indefinitely. She eventually woke up and returned to school and her boyfriend. She is helpful, selfless, generous, intelligent, kind, determined, compassionate, loving, dependable, brave and dedicated.
Georgie: Georgette Patricia Toodle is insane. When her mother was pregnant with her, Bellatrix tortured her parents to insanity. She never knew her real parents, and she had to provide for herself and even pay for her education. She was abused verbally and physically in her home, and it was no surprise to her that she was bullied in Hogwarts for being nerdy, clumsy, and because of her family's reputation. So she was shocked when Evan and Melanie stood up for her. They instantly became her best friends, and she would do anything for them. She had always had a small crush on Evan, but there were already so many girls chasing him and she was never sure how Melanie felt about him. She would never do anything to hurt them. She was always aware that she was the third wheel, Mel and Evan were always the best of friends and there was nothing she could do to change that. She became used to it, she never let it upset her too much. But whenever they were away the bullying continued, but she never let them know about it. It didn't help that they were in a different house than her, she was in Ravenclaw when they were in Gryffindor. Almost every night she cried herself to sleep, which resulted in more teasing from the girls, and eventually the boys in her house, when they were informed. The Yule ball wasn't fun for her either, she went with Seamus Finnigan, but he made it known that he was desperate and wouldn't have gone with her if any of the other girls would've. She didn't inform Mel or Evan about that either. During the final battle she was fighting with Luna and some other Ravenclaws when Christine was killed. Once she graduated, she moved away from her parents to America and stayed there until she was put into a teaching position in Hogwarts. She was reunited with Evan and Melanie, and was actually happy for a while. Until Freya hit her with the imperious curse. She was forced into a controlled state of insanity, and had to hurt herself almost to the point of death as a distraction. When she was finally released, she wasn't the same. Something had happened to her brain, she would slip back into the state she was in under the curse. This also gave her a lot of paranoia. She was so happy to see Evan once that she kissed him. All her feelings for him that she had controlled over the years came flooding back. She had tried to bring it up a few times and failed, but she decided to kiss him again, and felt a wave of relief when he said he liked her as well. She wasn't aware how much this would hurt Melanie, and when he proposed, even though it was the most amazing moment of her entire life, she felt horrible about Melanie. She blames herself for her depression and has tried many things, including breaking up with Evan for only about an hour, to try and make her feel better. When there was a major battle at the school lead by Savi she was hit by the cruciatus curse, which almost killed her, and sent her into a state of complete insanity, where she had no control over her body and she was believed to be gone. She came back though. She was officially diagnosed with schizophrenia and has suffered greatly from it. After Evan adopted their first daughter, she took in a five year old named Lily. At the moment she is preparing for the wedding and is in the process of moving. She is also trying to help Phyllis with her issues and trying to control her own.
Holly: Katherine Holly Stokes Thomas was born just after the end of the second wizarding war, on a cold day in mid-December. Her parents are Delbert (Del) and Belinda (Linda) Thomas, who were both just a year above Harry. Del went to school and was sorted into Gryffindor, where he became best friends with Caroline Lovegood, who was two years younger than him and a werewolf only he knew of. He also met the Ravenclaw Linda and fell in love at the first sight. When it came time for the battle of Hogwarts, Del, having heard the news from Potterwatch, wanted to go back and help fight with his younger brother, Dean, but his pregnant wife, Linda, begged him to stay. He did, and later went back to the school to help clean up. That December Katherine (Holly) was born. After nursing Linda went back to work at the ministry while Del went into magical law to help enforce werewolf rights, specifically for Caroline. When Holly was seven they had her sister, Ana. They both have grown up happily and in a good home, for one exception. While the Thomas name is respected, there are also those who do not like their small family in particular because of her father's intentions, so the three girls go by Linda's maiden name, Stokes. Just days before the beginning of her fourth year at Hogwarts Caroline, who was staying with them at the time, had an accidental transformation without wolfs bane potion and attacked Del. He was taken to St. Mungo's but finally died from his injuries the day of Grindlewald's second downfall. Holly-a bright, kind, smart, and Brave Gryffindor who loves Quidditch and reading-was crushed, though she couldn't say she hadn't expected it. She was always closer to her dad than anyone, and looked up to him, although she feels ashamed that neither of her parents went back to Hogwarts to help in the battle against Voldemort. What she was never told was that her mother had been pregnant with her at the time, as wizard pregnancies usually only last about five months. Holly has not truly been herself since the accident, but she knows she has it better than a lot of people and uses her talent of being able to comfort well to try and ease her classmates. She also continues trying to help her sister through Del's death and encourages her mother to keep going.
Tori: Tori grew up in a household surrounded by books. She hadn't had many friends until she came to Hogwarts, where she succeeded in every subject. She soon became friends with Bass because just like her, he became an outcast. She doesn't have a good relationship with neither her mother nor her father, but Bass is truly all the family she ever needed.
Tori met Ivan in her third year at Hogwarts and was immediately attracted to him, but she decided to only be friends for now. She was currently taking a liking to Chris and later found out that he was evil, so she decided to be her own person. She continued with her life as an outcast in the school along with Bass, but constantly decided to snoop around at any problems tackled, just in case she could one day rejoin society. Tori finally stopped trying later. She spent all of her years at Hogwarts studying hard, working out all of her toughest problems, yet she had never been given a problem she couldn't handle until she began dating Ivan.
Bass: Bass was always a lonely kid, ever since his father was brutally murdered by a death eater, his mother was always there to shelter him. Bass was ridden off as a geek by his fellow students upon his arrival at Hogwarts. He became good friends with Tori after realizing that she had become an outcast as well. It was as if it had been meant to be.
Bass really didn't know what he was in for when he became Tori's friend, but he quickly was able to accustom himself to fix any problem that he could. Bass had never really given a second thought to dating, at least until he met Jane during fifth year. He soon grew into a relationship with Jane, not fazed at all after finding out she was a werewolf. Bass was kidnapped later on in the year by Phyllis. He lost his memory due to Phyllis going crazy, which he now must try his best to help Tori with her troubling relationship while he tries to salvage his memory.
Chris: Chris grew up as the middle child in a family always constantly trying to kill each other. Chris came to Hogwarts at eleven years old, but was placed in Hufflepuff instead of Gryffindor, like he wanted. He always had to deal with never getting what he wanted, which drove him to do awful things, wrecking his relationships. Christopher had done many wrong things as the years went by, always regretting everything he had done, disappointing his family.
Chris tried to get out of it later by becoming a new young man, which lead to his ultimate downfall when Jane killed him. Instead of taking death as an opportunity for revenge, Chris decided to accept that he must become a new person. Chris came back to life later, much more matured, turning around his streak of wrongdoings so he didn't end up like his uncle or father. Chris even found a few girlfriends along the way and he treated each one with sincere kindness, even accepting it when Jolie chose JP instead of him. Throughout his year, Chris began to mend what he had broken, making him the better person he was inside.
Ivan: Ivan was the oldest child and he was always the favorite. Ivan was always kept clear away from and yet had many people liking him at the same time. His life became more tragic and took a turn for the worst when his beloved sister died, tearing his heart in two. He was about eleven when he started his rivalry with Phyllis and done despicable things that drove Phyllis to madness.
Ivan constantly blamed himself for Lori's deaths because of his actions, not just because he wasn't there in time. Ivan wishes that it would have been him, not his innocent little sister. He went through Hogwarts expecting to have rotten years until he met Tori. Ivan didn't want to bring Tori into any of his problems, any of his dangers, but at the same time he wanted to be able to trust her with anything. He then began to date her sixth year just as Phyllis finally began her reign of terror.
Lori: Lori Minor was often overlooked, even compared to Chris's standards. Lori had come to Hogwarts looking for friends, but what she got instead was death. Her death shook the family so hard it all fell apart. She wandered as her ghostly self through the halls, watching as her so-called friends never grieved for her.
Lori never thought she would come back to life after uncovering the terrible things her brothers had done. She was convinced that they were going to end up like her father. She ran away, but she didn't get far when James Minor killed her at the site of Hogwarts. After coming back to school grounds as a ghost, she took it upon herself to learn every trick and every crime her brothers had committed. She didn't get far in her research, but her problems today are trying to fit in and trying to not let anyone's secrets destroy her like they did two years ago.
Phyllis: Phyllis Minor had a hard life. Ivan ruined any future she had hopes for. Phyllis had to earn her father's trust and respect before he even gave her the time of day. Above all, Phyllis had to create a master plan to take revenge on the very one who took away her father from her in the first place.
Phyllis wasn't always crazy. She used to smile. Phyllis used to have a great life up until she started feuding with Ivan, up until something happened to destroy her world. She doesn't talk about it anymore because it's too painful to remember, but she will never forget it in the back of her mind. The loneliness caused her to create a form of human evil, someone so insane that they were a part of her, a creation whom she had named Phyllis 2.
Sheila: Sheila was only known for being the younger sister of Phyllis. That was all everyone had ever seen her for. No one saw her for her personality, for her beauty, or even for her peaceful nature. Sheila didn't want to be born with a peaceful nature, as it cost her a relationship with her parents.
Sheila couldn't help it. Sheila was too nice. She then found love when she met Troy, something her sister had originally taught her was the complete source of evil. She didn't think it was the source of evil, after all, Troy was the best thing that had ever happened to her. The year Phyllis went insane was the worst year of her life, because Sheila can never forgive her sister for leaving her alone to face her problems by herself.
Kelsey: Kelsey Brown is the cousin of Lavender Brown and was the same age as her. They didnt always get along though. Kelly was smart, adventurous and modest. When she was eleven she was accepted to Hogwarts and sorted into Gryffindor. She was average friends with Lavender and the Patil twins, pretty good friends with Hermione, Ginny and Luna, but her best friend was a Hufflepuff muggleborn girl named Rebecca Fulton. The girls were as close as sisters despite being in different houses. In fifth year, she joined the DA and found she was pretty good at dueling. She also found out her best friend was in love with a guy from her house, Drew Sullivan. She applauded her friend, Drew was a nice guy. The next year, Rebecca set her up with Drews best friend Darius and Kelsey fell head over heels. After sixth year, she decided not to go back to Hogwarts and joined a group of renegade witches and wizards, mostly defected Ministry employees or new Hogwarts graduates, which acted as a covert ops group for the Order, where she ran into Darius. They worked and fought together until Darius was injured. While he was gone, Kelsey fought harder than she ever had before. In the Battle of Hogwarts, Emerald Soulkeeper made a wall begin to collapse on them, and she stole Kellys soul and Apparated away in time. Time passed until she was freed from her captivity. She reunited with Darius and he proposed on the spot, to which Kelsey accepted. After becoming engaged, she got back on her feet and is preparing for her wedding. She is the godmother of Lucas.
Morgan: Morgan Claybourne has been many things. A half-blood, she had an average childhood but it was far from normal. She was accepted to Hogwarts at age eleven and on the train she met her soon-to-be best friend Cedric Diggory a fellow first year. She was sorted into Hufflepuff, and she was elated when he was sorted into Hufflepuff right after her. Her Hogwarts years were mostly normal, though Harry Potters adventures did spice things up a bit. The Claybournes and the Diggorys became good friends through their children, Morgan was always welcome at the Diggorys and Cedric was always welcome at the Claybournes. In her final year they had the Triwizard Tournament. She worried for Cedric but stood by his decision to enter into the Tournament. She was scared yet excited when his name came out of the goblet. She was a little angry with Harry until she learned he never actually put his name in. When Cedric fell for Cho, she was happy for him but felt left behind, left out, like Cho was replacing her. When Harry appeared with Cedrics dead body, she was one of the few to push through the crowd and onto the field to see them, it was Morgan, not Cho, who flung herself down on the ground, clutched Cedrics body and cried her eyes out. After Cedrics death, Morgan became more focused on fighting the war, joining the Order of the Phoenix right after graduation. She also started training to be a Healer at St. Mungos, and became a particularly good healer, although she didnt have quite the amount of natural talent that Veronica possesses. She did less fighting in the war and more healing the fighters, but she did fight some too. After the war she continued her healers career until she was asked to come teach Potions at Hogwarts. She taught for a while and was the Head of House Hufflepuff until Harriet Marcus was appointed Minister of Magic. Harriet appointed Morgan Headmistress of Hogwarts, and now Morgan has a mission to be the best Headmistress possible and to protect her students. To this day she still misses her best friend and doesnt want another student to end up like him.
David: David Blackshire is a 3rd year Ravenclaw. Hes the only child of the Blackshire family and is the cousin of Veronica. His parents sous were stolen by Emerald Soulkeeper when he was a child, so everyone thought they were murdered. He lived with his aunt, uncle and cousin and was well cared for. He discovered his passions of painting and riding. When he was eleven he was accepted to Hogwarts and he was sorted into Ravenclaw. He has a hard time making friends and usually spends his time painting or reading a book, feeling like an outcast or like he doesnt belong. He was enraged when Veronica was hit by Carnificinam, the Living Death curse and was elated when she returned. Recently he got his parents back and now lives with them again. Hes very intelligent, serious and creative and loves his cousin.
Jean Pierre: Jean Pierre: Jean Pierre was born in France to a happy family. His parents were both muggles and he was an only child. They didn't quite understand that he was different at first until they realized their house kept catching on fire, and then they realized something was up. Jean Pierre attended muggle primary school because his parents were unaware that he was a wizard. When he was 11 he was invited to Durmstrang. He didn't fit in because he was pretty dull and a bit dumb. Though he was caring and brawny. During his sixth year at Durmstrang he heard of an opportunity to transfer to Hogwarts. He jumped at the idea of going to a more diverse school. He decided to join Hufflepuff because he enjoyed the colors. He didn't know anything of the actual house or what it represented. He became friends with Jolie who was another transfer student. They fell in love and went through many rough times including both of them dying and Jean Pierre being brought back to life through the use of the stone. Jolie died permanently and he met Claire who he instantly bonded with. Though he loved Jolie, he knew he needed to move on and enjoy life.
Linus: Mikial Linus was born into a strict family in Norway in 1953. His parents were both wizards and he has two younger sisters who are also wizards. His parents were both 21 when they had him. His parents in 1989 were going through a very late mid life crisis and decided to have more kids at the age of 57. This made Mikial somewhat depressed as he thought his parents were trying to replace him. His mother died in child birth where she delivered two twins, Fauna and Flora Linus. His sisters are both now 24 and live in America. He is very protective of them as he even taught them at Hogwarts. His father died a few years after their births and Mikial basically raised his sisters as his own as he was in his early forties. His parents made him work from a very early age and he did not get much time to play and be a kid so he did not have any friends until he entered Hogwarts. He was sorted into Slytherin and was at the top of his class, excelling in both DADA and Charms. He made many friends but never found someone he could call his best friend. Once Mikial graduated he became involved with dark groups of wizards secretly while beginning to teach at Hogwarts. He took a leave of absence after his sisters graduated and became a governor on the board for Hogwarts, that way he was still involved with the school. He became fully involved with the Death Eaters and made a friend in a woman named Jayne. She was a former student of his turned apprentice. They had an affair that her husband was to never know about. He was named godfather of Jayne's daughter Melanie who he loves dearly. He currently works at Hogwarts while still providing information regarding the last of the death eaters.
Eddie: Edeline Phan is a seventh year Gryffindor. She is one of the few lucky enough to be born around the start of the war and live through it. She has always been a mischievous rebel, and doesnt like to be ordered around or do as shes told. She would prefer to carve her own path, shes fiercely independent. When she was young her mother died, and so she became protective of her family. Eddie liked quidditch from a young age. When she was eleven she was accepted to Hogwarts and was sorted into Gryffindor. She has been a part of the team for several years and this year became team captain. She is almost always at odds with her father, who wants her to settle down and take her responsibilities. She is very much of a tomboy and even sometimes wishes she was a boy. One day she cut off her hair and dyed it bright scarlet red and has worn it like that ever since. She is brave, loyal, independent, stubborn, athletic, protective and free-spirited.
Nikolai: Nikolai Zhukov is a former Hufflepuff who teaches Potions. He was born is Russia and was five or six around the time of the Battle of Hogwarts. When he was eleven he was accepted to Durmstrang and became somewhat of a quidditch prodigy, playing beater. In fourth year he befriended his fellow beater, a first year named Alexei Romanov. They were good friends and beaters throughout Nikolais fourth and fifth year, acting like an older brother to Alexei. After fifth year he and his parents moved to England for his fathers job and he was forced to transfer to Hogwarts for sixth and seventh year. He was sorted into Hufflepuff, and played quidditch but it just wasnt the same. After he graduated he went into potions research. Now, three years after graduating, he was hired by an old coworker, Morgan Claybourne, to take her spot as potions professor so he now teaches potions.
Alexei: Alexei Romanov is a sixth year exchange student from Durmstrang. He was born in Russia but when he and his little sister were young he and his family immigrated to New York City. When he was eleven he was accepted to Durmstrang. There he joined the quidditch team and met Nikolai Zhukov, a fourth year who became Alexeis best friend and older brother figure. After Alexeis second year it hurt to hear that Nikolai was being dragged off to England and Hogwarts. Alexei stayed in touch with Nikolai and made other friends, but it really wasnt the same. He was happy for his little sister Anya when she was accepted to Salem, as he doted on her. When he got the opportunity to be an exchange student and go to Hogwarts he couldnt pass it up, even though he knew Nikolai had graduated. Alexei joined Gryffindor. He became good friends with Lucas, who was obsessed with quidditch, and met Veronica. He got a giant crush on Veronica and befriended her. When he heard Salem was invaded, he immediately left and rescued his little sister Anya, bringing her to Hogwarts. Just after they finally admitted their feelings, Veronica was hit by the Living Death Unforgivable curse. Alexei was distraught. However, he was so happy to get Veronica back and he started dating her. Alexei is brave, athletic, friendly, protective, and loyal.
Gabrielle: Gabrielle McLee/Xavier/Finch/Black grew up in a countryside in Britain with her father on a farm. They raised mostly muggle known animals, but kept a few pygmy puffs, including her pet Peach. Her father Bob was bitten by Fenrir Greyback and had wanted his daughter to be safe from him. She was sent to Hogwarts and placed in Ravenclaw. For five years straight she was at the top of her class. The first day of her sixth year she met the third year Jackson Finch, whom she instantly fell in love with. She and her friend Jane were bitten by Alaine, turning them into werewolves themselves. She had suffered at first but then she realized that she should be embracing it. During one of the battles she was informed that her father had bitten her mother and they were both under the imperious curse, serving as werewolves in Savis army. She saw them once in the battle and told them to escape. She was later informed that they had been killed by werewolf hunters and has seen their ghosts only a few times. Jackson proposed and she accepted, and he made her bite him so they could be together. She has been abused and has developed dependent personality disorder from being taken in and abandoned so many times, and is also why she will become very affectionate to strangers who take her in or help her and why she is still with Jackson after he has cheated on her multiple times with many other girls. She has also figured out how to transform fully into a werewolf when the moon is not full. She was adopted by Corbin Xavier after her parents died, and was surprised that he was okay with her being a werewolf. She caught Nagini trying to kill him so she bit Naginis neck, not recognizing her. She felt horrible about what she had done and how she caused the conflict between Nagini and Jackson. At the moment she is just trying to pull herself together and trying to give herself a normal life again.
Anya: Anya Romanov is a first year exchange student from Salem. She was born in Russia but when she and her big brother were young she and her family immigrated to New York City. When Alexei went off to school she missed him a lot but still had a nice childhood. This year she was accepted to Salem. Salem was nice until it got invaded, then it was scary, but she got rescued by Alexei and got taken to Hogwarts. At Hogwarts she joined Hufflepuff and has been trying to learn ever since. She likes Veronica and was sad when she was hit by the curse. She sometimes hangs out with Alexei and his friends but doesnt really have any of her own. Between what happened at Salem and when she was kidnapped to help guard the broom by the evil people, she has seen some frightful things at a young age. She is kind, friendly, somewhat shy and optimistic.
Will: William Aldrige was born in November of 1996, making him another to be born at the start of the war. His father is a squib and his mother a muggle, but his dad abandoned them when he was young so it was always assumed Will was muggle born. He grew up in England with his mother and two older sisters whom he loves dearly. Although the youngest, William has also taken on the responsibility of being the protective brother, taking care of the one still at home. When he was eleven he was admitted at Hogwarts, which was a surprise for his family, as he wasn't one to have big explosions of accidental magic; his was done on the little things. Will was sorted into Hufflepuff. He is very loyal and fair, and, should his friends or family be harmed, is ready to fight back at any moment. When Grindlewald was attempting to take over the world he grew worried about his family and went home, and arrived back at the school just before the battle that he participated in. Will also has an extreme sense of cheesy humor and does well in school, although he doesn't always work hard. Still he attains good grades. His best friend is probably Luke, a fifth year and fellow Hufflepuff, but he doesn't see him often. While he has also been affected by the school's events, he feels he has been given the best situation under the circumstances and continues to do his duty as an older student and strives to protect his classmates.
Noleen Jolie (Joy) Leveque: Noleen is a gifted young Ravenclaw who was born healthy to a loving couple in April of 2001. She is the oldest child of three, the youngsters being a little girl and younger boy. Noleen has very fair skin with dark brown hair that curls in loose curls. Her eyes are green. Since she was young Noleen has been a curious child, wondering about the world and how things work. She is very developed emotionally although she often appears as a cute child. She also had political view from a young age. These things all contribute to her giftedness, which was determined at a muggle primary school when she was eight. Because of her emotional state, she wasn't upset often and only used accidental magic a few times. There are a few things unique about Noleen, which make her stand out sometimes when she doesn't wish it: Noleen is of mixed cultures. Her mother is a half-blood and was born and raised in Ireland; she was taught magic at home and wanted her daughter to as well. Her father, however, is half French and half English; he went to Beauxbatons and Hogwarts. Noleen was born in Ireland but has lived in England, too, as she does now. The name Noleen shows her heritage. Noleen is an Irish girls name, Jolie is French and means pretty, but her parents often refer to her as Joy, which is English. Leveque is a French surename. Noleen speaks with a slight Irish accent and feels most comfortable there, although she knows a bit of French, too, which has helped her feel more in place with the exchange students. Her family plans to move back to Ireland soon, and it does affect her even if her schooling won't change. Noleen is also fascinated with music, particularly piano pieces and some violin. She wants to learn how to play each but is discouraged because there are not many wizards who can teach her. When Noleen was eleven it was decided she would go to Hogwarts. She was placed in Ravenclaw, to no one's surprise. She fit well in the house but still appeared to be different from her classmates and more mature. This year she was pulled from school by her father until the attacks settled down. Noleen understood his concern but did not see it as a very fair thing to do when others were forced to stay and endure them. She came back, though, and has caught up on her studies quickly. Noleen makes friends easier in older students and adults, but is often just treated like a child around them. This rejection saddens her sometimes, but she knows it is unintentional and keeps her spirits bright. She is sweet, curious, little for her age and fascinated by ancient runes. She excels in her classes and is very self-motivated.
Alec: Alec's father was death eater. Not just any death eater, it was Igor Karkaroff. Alec went to Durmstrang as a young boy, but he was overshadowed during the year of the Triwizard Tournament when Igor favored Krum. Alec was never cut out for being a death eater, but he was raised to believe otherwise, to believe that a pure blood wizarding race was something to be achieved.
Alec switched schools from Durmstrang his seventh year. He was sorted into Slytherin at Hogwarts. It wasn't long after he got there when Snape had taken over as Headmaster. Alec fought alongside the death eaters during the Battle of Hogwarts and the second Wizarding War. He later found out that his father had fled in terror and was not on the side of the death eaters. He then learned from death eaters that Igor had turned in several of his friends, afraid to go to prison, while he was on trial at the ministry. It then was decided that Alec would change his last name to Ryland and assume a new identity.
Alec got a position to be a Caretaker at Hogwarts a few years after the Battle of Hogwarts. No one knew about his true origins. Alec then received word that his sister and her second husband died under mysterious causes. Alec then took in his niece, Eris, in order to protect her from a father who wouldn't provide for her. He hid her family origins from his niece because he was afraid she wouldn't accept it and he arranged privately to have her be placed in Hufflepuff instead of Slytherin.
Eris: Eris never knew her father. Her father had left their family about a week after she was born. Eris's mother, Florentina, married a man name Frank Tridentia when Eris was two. Eris lived a happy life until her mother and stepfather died three years ago, without anyone knowing what had caused their deaths.
Eris has never had any friends. She normally spends her time reading. Eris likes to talk with her uncle Alec, whom she never knew until he took her in as her legal guardian. This prevented her from ever knowing who her father was. She currently is in Hufflepuff, although she's always felt as if she never fit in there.
Evan Robert Smith: Evan Smith is a former Gryffindor that now teaches History of Magic. His father, Thomas Tommy Smith, was a muggleborn wizard who happened to be a rock star and his mother, Ophelia Kirkpatrick Smith, was a pureblood witch that researched potions and attempted to create new ones. His parents could not be more different, but somehow they stayed together. When Evan was two, his little sister Christine Smith was born. Evan was funny, curious, outgoing, friendly, mischievous, and charming. Evan defended and protected Christine to the best of his abilities, making sure she stayed mostly out of the limelight. Evan pranked and joked from a young age; he loved to make people laugh and smile. When Evan went off to Hogwarts, he was sorted into Gryffindor. He made many friends, including his best friend Melanie Black, who he became friends with the minute he sat down at the Gryffindor table in the empty seat next to her. He also became close friends with Georgette Toodle, Darius Roric, Drew Sullivan, Rebecca Fulton, Kelsey Brown, and Lee Jordan and the Weasley twins. He did all he could for Melanie, but there were some things he couldnt help her with. In his fifth year, both Evan and Christine joined the DA, and became more involved with the war. At the same time his parents marriage finally began to crumble. The next years were hard on him, with the family thrown into the medias limelight as his parents fought, did stupid stuff, and tried to get a divorce. They finally did, in the start of the summer after Evans sixth year and Christines fourth year, in a large and expensive affair that tore their family apart. Later that summer, Evans father Tommy Smith was hospitalized for being muggleborn. Evan and Christine went back to school, but continued to rebel with some of the other students, eventually joining the group in the Room of Requirement. In the Battle of Hogwarts, Evan tried to send Christine away with the other underage students, but she snuck back when he was preoccupied. During the battle, Evan was fighting when he was attacked by death eaters. Christine had just saved his life when she stumbled and appeared to die in Evans arms. The battle had ended when he finally made it back to the Great Hall with Christines body draped in his arms. He was in shock, so he just kept repeating I found her over and over again. After the battle, and Christine and Fred had been honored and either buried or cremated, Evan disappeared from the country, wandering around the world for over a year, drifting from city to city in a grief-filled haze, convinced he could have stopped her death or prevented her from sneaking back to the battle. His return to England was purely accidental, but he ended up taking a job at Weasleys Wizard Wheezes. It was months later before anyone besides his fellow employees realized he was back, when Melanie wandered into the store during Evans shift. Once people learned he was back, many of his friends came around and helped get him back on his feet. It was when he was finally getting back to normal that Evan decided to teach. He then was hired to be a History of Magic professor and has been teaching at Hogwarts ever since. He didnt like to talk about his year abroad or his sisters death to anyone, preferring to hide it behind his cheerful joker exterior. He is diagnosed with PTSD and suffers from episodes occasionally. This year Georgette came to teach and he fell in love and they are now engaged to be married. Also recently, the truth behind Christines circumstances was revealed and he is quite happy to have his sister alive again.

Melanie: Melanie Jane Black: Melanie Black grew up in a single parent home due to threats from his death eater sister, so her father had to leave and go into hiding to protect his wife and newborn. At the age of seven, however, the Black household was finally broken into and her mother (Jayne) was killed. Melanie survived only by a bit of accidental magic: she was somehow able to cast a strong enough protection charm to keep herself out of harms way. She was taken to the only family they could find, Dolores's sister's residence. For four years Mel resided there. At the age of eleven she went to Hogwarts, where she met the jokester Evan Smith, whom she befriended instantly and has had a sibling relationship with ever since. Among their group of friends also resided Georgie Toodle and Christi Smith, Evan's younger sister. For the first time since her mother's death she had people who cared about her. The summer before her fourth year her father, Callum, finally found her and kept in touch until he was killed trying to capture Greyback just days before her fifteenth birthday. Mel stayed at school during the holidays, but when summer came she was forced to go back to her relatives' place; this eventually became a problem when Voldemort returned. Because she lived with death eaters (and came from a long line of dark wizards) she knew more than she should and was nearly killed at least once. The order, thankfully, was given notice and were able to help her escape. During her seventh year it was decided that Hogwarts was not safe for Mel, this particularly being when death eaters were admitted into the school. She was moved to the Tonks residence and lived there until the final battle, where she fought and witnessed many deaths, including that of Nymphadora Tonks, whom she was relatively close to, due to a surprise attack from behind and her protection spell missing. Mel took over and dueled Bellatrix after she fell. The happiest day of her life remains to be the day she found Evan in the joke shop, hence her strong patronus. She struggles now with her brother(Evan)'s engagement to Georgie, recent break up with Corbin, and the number of people she's lost over the past six months
Remy: Remy Leroy is a twelve year old French 2nd year who has been at Hogwarts since starting schooling. He lived with his father and older sister Jolie, but only really listened to Jolie and only trusted and relied on her, he didn't really connect with his dad and never met his mum, so with her now alive and his dad dead, he doesn't relate to her pretty much at all. He was disappointed when Jolie did not switch from Beauxbatons to Hogwarts when he started school. He was sorted into Slytherin, and so most of his year turned their backs on him, because they don't like or trust Slytherins. This caused him to have no friends. This year when Jolie was one of the exchange students, he was further disappointed when Jolie went to Hufflepuff although he told her he was in Slytherin when he heard she was coming, in the hopes of getting her to finally join him. He felt like she was ignoring him, and he was afraid she'd be told the prejudices and rumors against Slytherin and she'd abandon him. Then Jean Pierre came along and how he loathed him. He felt Jean Pierre was taking his place and he was stealing Jolie from him. This only intensified as Jolie died a lot for him and such. Remy felt Jean Pierre caused her sister all this pain, suffering and death. Remy blames Jean Pierre for Jolie's death, as she was protecting him. There are only two reasons why JP is still alive: 1, Remy doesn't think Jolie would want him to be a killer so he is appeasing her, and 2, he doesn't want to give JP the chance to be with Jolie eternally in the afterlife.
Jackson: Jackson Finch-Black was born to a supposed loving couple. Freya Finch, his mother was fascinated with the dark arts and soon became involved with Voldemort, unknown to her husband. Eventually, she found out that her husband had an affair with Bellatrix and she murdered him. Bellatrix gave birth to Nagini whom is Jackson's step-sister. He is a third year at Hogwarts in Ravenclaw. On the first day of his third year he met Gabrielle McLee whom he fell in love with. He has been through quite a bit and suffered depression and torture. He is close to his adopted Mom/cousin Melanie, his girlfriend Gabrielle, his best friend Holly, and his sister Nagini.
Luke: Lucas Sullivan was born to Drew and Rebecca Sullivan. He was named after his godfather Darius, as his full name was Darius Lucarius Roric. However, many were resentful of Darius and the Sullivans for convicting all of the death eaters. When Lucas was three, the house was invaded and Drew and Rebecca Sullivan were murdered. They tried to kill Lucas as well, but thanks to accidental magic, Luke was able to keep himself hidden. When Darius and the aurors reached the house, they found it in ruins and ashes, and Luke hidden in the remains. Darius took in his godson and for the past twelve years he has raised Luke like he was his own son. Lucas is the only person besides the death eaters involved that knows what exactly happened; he remembers everything, every single detail about that night. He has refused to tell Darius or anyone what happened, and thankfully the name Sullivan is common enough that he avoided the unwanted attention of being the son of the murdered Drew and Rebecca Sullivan until this year when his identity was revealed. When Luke went to Hogwarts and was sorted into Hufflepuff instead of Gryffindor he was at first ashamed, but when Darius told him that it was his mothers house, Luke was no longer ashamed. He grew to understand why he was put there and is proud of being in Hufflepuff and being a prefect. He is a huge quidditch fan and plays seeker for the house team. He is kind, friendly, brave, hardworking, fair and loyal.
Darius: Darius Roric was born into the Most Noble and Ancient House of Roric. His story is much like Sirius Blacks; Darius was the white sheep of his family. Though not nearly as bad as the Blacks, his family was still dark and Darius didnt want to be like them. Darius was mischievous, rash, brave, loyal and chivalrous. He was in the same year as Harry Potter, and was sorted into Gryffindor. Darius instantly became best friends with another pureblood named Drew Sullivan. Darius and Drew were the best and closest of friends, they were practically inseparable. He also became good friends with Evan and later Christine Smith, Melanie Black, Georgette Toodle, and Lee Jordan and the Weasley twins. After fourth year, his parents got worse so he ran to Drews place, and Drew and his parents took him in. In the beginning of fifth year, Drew became close with a Hufflepuff girl in their year named Rebecca Fulton. Drew was immediately smitten by her, and it took him a while, but he finally won her over. Darius teased Drew mercilessly like a best friend would, but was happy for them, how could he not be? He and Drew were brothers in all but blood and he had gotten to know Rebecca and considered her a friend as well. The next year, sixth year, Drew got his revenge because Darius had fallen head over heels for Kelsey Brown, Lavender Browns more beautiful, stronger and less shallow cousin. He soon got together with her. After Dumbledores death it was decided that Rebecca was unsafe, as Rebecca was muggleborn to Drew and Darius pureblood. The three of them decided that Drew would lead Rebecca into hiding until the wars end, and Darius would help them escape. That summer, they put their plan into action, stealing away and destroying a Death Eater base at the same time. However, a friend of Rebeccas turned out to be a spy and betrayed them. Darius, Drew and Rebecca destroyed the base, but the betrayal almost cost the three friends their lives as they were attacked. Somehow, they escaped into Belgium. Darius helped Drew and Rebecca hide, but had to leave them as he knew they were looking for all three of them and wouldnt suspect them if it was just Drew and Rebecca. Back in England, Darius was confronted by his abandoned parents, who wanted him to join the Death Eaters, but he refused and escaped from them. Darius ran into a group of renegade witches and wizards, mostly defected Ministry employees or new Hogwarts graduates, which acted as a covert ops group for the Order. Darius joined their ranks to fight the war, and the next day was joined by his girlfriend Kelsey Brown. Meanwhile, by December, both Drew and Rebecca were of age, and were still so in love with each other that they wanted to be married, just in case something happened to them, so Drew proposed. Rebecca of course accepted readily without a second thought. After the New Year, Darius was gravely injured in a skirmish, and was sent out of the country to recover. He rejoined Drew and Rebecca, who were glad to see him. They begged him to marry them until at last, Darius gave in. Darius married his brother and his friend, but was all too soon called back to the front. Darius returned to Hogwarts a day or two before the battle and hid in the Room of Requirement, where he consulted his friend Evan on whether he should propose to Kelsey. Darius fought in the Battle of Hogwarts, and saw Kelsey buried under a wall and was told she was dead. After the war, Darius went back to Belgium and returned to England with Drew and Rebecca, who decided to have an actual ceremony. After that, they went to work, Drew and Darius going into the Aurors and Rebecca into Magical Law. Between the three of them, several Death Eaters were convicted and sent to Azkaban or killed. He was proud to be named godfather of Lucas and doted on him. He was devastated when Drew and Rebecca died, and took in Lucas to raise as his own, vowing to protect him. After being injured, he took on the post of DADA professor. Recently, Kelsey came back to him and Darius proposed. He is now engaged and is planning his and Kelseys wedding as she prepares to take the teaching position.
Christine: Christine Smith is a former Gryffindor and now teaches Flying. Christine was born as Evan Smiths younger sister. Christine was shy, quiet, smart, kind and a quick learner. Christine kept Evan out of trouble for his mischief and helped him come up with creative pranks and smarter and easier ways to go about them. Evan taught Christine to be just as charming as him and brought her out of her shell. Two years after her older brother left for school, Christine came to Hogwarts and was sorted into Gryffindor, and everyone was surprised when it became clear that, beside the looks, charms and intelligence, she was different than her brother, as she took school more seriously and for the most part obeyed or appeared to obey the rules. Christine became friends with Evans friends, especially Melanie Black and Georgette Toodle. In her third year, she joined the DA and became more involved in the war. At the same time her parents began breaking up and the family was thrust into the spotlight. Evan tried to take care of her as their parents were caught up in themselves and their disputes, but she saw how much stress he was under and looked after herself when she could. After her fourth year, the divorce was finalized, and later that summer her father was hospitalized for being muggleborn. Evan and Christine went back to school, but continued to rebel with some of the other students, eventually joining the group in the Room of Requirement. In the Battle of Hogwarts, Evan tried to send Christine away with the other underage students, but she snuck back when he was preoccupied. During the battle, Evan was fighting when he was attacked by death eaters. Christine had just saved his life when she stumbled and appeared to die in Evans arms. In reality, her soul was stolen from her body, and while everyone believed she was dead for the next 15 years, her soul was held captive by the witch Emerald Soulkeeper. Her soul aged, so when she was finally set free, she appeared as an adult, not as a fifteen year old girl and that has thrown her off. She has reunited with her friends and family and now teaches Flying, and is attempting to get used to being back and being an adult.
Isabella: Isabella Smith is a half French half English 4th year Ravenclaw. She was actually born Ivy Dorielle Antoinette de la Noir Scott in Paris, France. Her father John Scott was an English wizard and his real name was Terence Ivanson, however he was in hiding from his family who wanted to kill him. Her mother, Marie Delphine de la Noir was a muggle but from a rich noble family. When she was six years old, her father was killed in an accident. Neither her nor her mother had been told about magic so when she was 11 and accepted to Beauxbatons, it was assumed she was muggleborn. She was smart but shy and in school she was often called nerd or Mudblood. She didnt mind the names so much as the shunning, but she still participated in academic and quidditch competitions. This year she agreed to be an exchange student and went to Hogwarts. She joined Ravenclaw and was told not to refer to herself as a Mudblood. Everything was fine until she was Petrified by a pet basilisk. She later was revived and went back to classes. She also discovered her fathers true heritage. She was recruited by the Ravenclaw quidditch team. Then one day, her lawyer informed her that her mother had been murdered. Custody of her turned into a nasty international court case, but she was aided and adopted by her teacher Professor Evan Smith. It was then she was renamed Isabella Dorielle Smith. She briefly dated Jackson but let him go and then dated Louis until his recent death. She is currently preparing for her adoptive fathers wedding to her future adoptive stepmother. She is very smart, logical, shy, athletic, sarcastic and nice.
Veronica: Veronica Spencer is a 6th year Slytherin. She is the only child of House Spencer and is one of the few lucky enough to be born around the start of the war and live through it. She had the average childhood of a kid born into her social, political and economic status: happy, cared for, doted on, healthy, active, slightly spoiled but not to the point of ruin. At the age of eight she contracted a life-threatening disease that was going around and she went to St. Mungos, where she was fascinated and awed by the healers. She decided afterwards that she wanted to become one and thus started learning. In her Hogwarts sorting, she was a hatstall that could have gone anywhere, but the hat sorted her into Slytherin for her ambition. The decision alienated her towards other Slytherins and towards the other houses. This year she finally made friends, and met Alexei Romanov. Just after they finally admitted their feelings, she was hit by the Living Death Unforgivable curse, which renders one comatose indefinitely. She eventually woke up and returned to school and her boyfriend. She is helpful, selfless, generous, intelligent, kind, determined, compassionate, loving, dependable, brave and dedicated.
Georgie: Georgette Patricia Toodle is insane. When her mother was pregnant with her, Bellatrix tortured her parents to insanity. She never knew her real parents, and she had to provide for herself and even pay for her education. She was abused verbally and physically in her home, and it was no surprise to her that she was bullied in Hogwarts for being nerdy, clumsy, and because of her family's reputation. So she was shocked when Evan and Melanie stood up for her. They instantly became her best friends, and she would do anything for them. She had always had a small crush on Evan, but there were already so many girls chasing him and she was never sure how Melanie felt about him. She would never do anything to hurt them. She was always aware that she was the third wheel, Mel and Evan were always the best of friends and there was nothing she could do to change that. She became used to it, she never let it upset her too much. But whenever they were away the bullying continued, but she never let them know about it. It didn't help that they were in a different house than her, she was in Ravenclaw when they were in Gryffindor. Almost every night she cried herself to sleep, which resulted in more teasing from the girls, and eventually the boys in her house, when they were informed. The Yule ball wasn't fun for her either, she went with Seamus Finnigan, but he made it known that he was desperate and wouldn't have gone with her if any of the other girls would've. She didn't inform Mel or Evan about that either. During the final battle she was fighting with Luna and some other Ravenclaws when Christine was killed. Once she graduated, she moved away from her parents to America and stayed there until she was put into a teaching position in Hogwarts. She was reunited with Evan and Melanie, and was actually happy for a while. Until Freya hit her with the imperious curse. She was forced into a controlled state of insanity, and had to hurt herself almost to the point of death as a distraction. When she was finally released, she wasn't the same. Something had happened to her brain, she would slip back into the state she was in under the curse. This also gave her a lot of paranoia. She was so happy to see Evan once that she kissed him. All her feelings for him that she had controlled over the years came flooding back. She had tried to bring it up a few times and failed, but she decided to kiss him again, and felt a wave of relief when he said he liked her as well. She wasn't aware how much this would hurt Melanie, and when he proposed, even though it was the most amazing moment of her entire life, she felt horrible about Melanie. She blames herself for her depression and has tried many things, including breaking up with Evan for only about an hour, to try and make her feel better. When there was a major battle at the school lead by Savi she was hit by the cruciatus curse, which almost killed her, and sent her into a state of complete insanity, where she had no control over her body and she was believed to be gone. She came back though. She was officially diagnosed with schizophrenia and has suffered greatly from it. After Evan adopted their first daughter, she took in a five year old named Lily. At the moment she is preparing for the wedding and is in the process of moving. She is also trying to help Phyllis with her issues and trying to control her own.
Holly: Katherine Holly Stokes Thomas was born just after the end of the second wizarding war, on a cold day in mid-December. Her parents are Delbert (Del) and Belinda (Linda) Thomas, who were both just a year above Harry. Del went to school and was sorted into Gryffindor, where he became best friends with Caroline Lovegood, who was two years younger than him and a werewolf only he knew of. He also met the Ravenclaw Linda and fell in love at the first sight. When it came time for the battle of Hogwarts, Del, having heard the news from Potterwatch, wanted to go back and help fight with his younger brother, Dean, but his pregnant wife, Linda, begged him to stay. He did, and later went back to the school to help clean up. That December Katherine (Holly) was born. After nursing Linda went back to work at the ministry while Del went into magical law to help enforce werewolf rights, specifically for Caroline. When Holly was seven they had her sister, Ana. They both have grown up happily and in a good home, for one exception. While the Thomas name is respected, there are also those who do not like their small family in particular because of her father's intentions, so the three girls go by Linda's maiden name, Stokes. Just days before the beginning of her fourth year at Hogwarts Caroline, who was staying with them at the time, had an accidental transformation without wolfs bane potion and attacked Del. He was taken to St. Mungo's but finally died from his injuries the day of Grindlewald's second downfall. Holly-a bright, kind, smart, and Brave Gryffindor who loves Quidditch and reading-was crushed, though she couldn't say she hadn't expected it. She was always closer to her dad than anyone, and looked up to him, although she feels ashamed that neither of her parents went back to Hogwarts to help in the battle against Voldemort. What she was never told was that her mother had been pregnant with her at the time, as wizard pregnancies usually only last about five months. Holly has not truly been herself since the accident, but she knows she has it better than a lot of people and uses her talent of being able to comfort well to try and ease her classmates. She also continues trying to help her sister through Del's death and encourages her mother to keep going.
Tori: Tori grew up in a household surrounded by books. She hadn't had many friends until she came to Hogwarts, where she succeeded in every subject. She soon became friends with Bass because just like her, he became an outcast. She doesn't have a good relationship with neither her mother nor her father, but Bass is truly all the family she ever needed.
Tori met Ivan in her third year at Hogwarts and was immediately attracted to him, but she decided to only be friends for now. She was currently taking a liking to Chris and later found out that he was evil, so she decided to be her own person. She continued with her life as an outcast in the school along with Bass, but constantly decided to snoop around at any problems tackled, just in case she could one day rejoin society. Tori finally stopped trying later. She spent all of her years at Hogwarts studying hard, working out all of her toughest problems, yet she had never been given a problem she couldn't handle until she began dating Ivan.
Bass: Bass was always a lonely kid, ever since his father was brutally murdered by a death eater, his mother was always there to shelter him. Bass was ridden off as a geek by his fellow students upon his arrival at Hogwarts. He became good friends with Tori after realizing that she had become an outcast as well. It was as if it had been meant to be.
Bass really didn't know what he was in for when he became Tori's friend, but he quickly was able to accustom himself to fix any problem that he could. Bass had never really given a second thought to dating, at least until he met Jane during fifth year. He soon grew into a relationship with Jane, not fazed at all after finding out she was a werewolf. Bass was kidnapped later on in the year by Phyllis. He lost his memory due to Phyllis going crazy, which he now must try his best to help Tori with her troubling relationship while he tries to salvage his memory.
Chris: Chris grew up as the middle child in a family always constantly trying to kill each other. Chris came to Hogwarts at eleven years old, but was placed in Hufflepuff instead of Gryffindor, like he wanted. He always had to deal with never getting what he wanted, which drove him to do awful things, wrecking his relationships. Christopher had done many wrong things as the years went by, always regretting everything he had done, disappointing his family.
Chris tried to get out of it later by becoming a new young man, which lead to his ultimate downfall when Jane killed him. Instead of taking death as an opportunity for revenge, Chris decided to accept that he must become a new person. Chris came back to life later, much more matured, turning around his streak of wrongdoings so he didn't end up like his uncle or father. Chris even found a few girlfriends along the way and he treated each one with sincere kindness, even accepting it when Jolie chose JP instead of him. Throughout his year, Chris began to mend what he had broken, making him the better person he was inside.
Ivan: Ivan was the oldest child and he was always the favorite. Ivan was always kept clear away from and yet had many people liking him at the same time. His life became more tragic and took a turn for the worst when his beloved sister died, tearing his heart in two. He was about eleven when he started his rivalry with Phyllis and done despicable things that drove Phyllis to madness.
Ivan constantly blamed himself for Lori's deaths because of his actions, not just because he wasn't there in time. Ivan wishes that it would have been him, not his innocent little sister. He went through Hogwarts expecting to have rotten years until he met Tori. Ivan didn't want to bring Tori into any of his problems, any of his dangers, but at the same time he wanted to be able to trust her with anything. He then began to date her sixth year just as Phyllis finally began her reign of terror.
Lori: Lori Minor was often overlooked, even compared to Chris's standards. Lori had come to Hogwarts looking for friends, but what she got instead was death. Her death shook the family so hard it all fell apart. She wandered as her ghostly self through the halls, watching as her so-called friends never grieved for her.
Lori never thought she would come back to life after uncovering the terrible things her brothers had done. She was convinced that they were going to end up like her father. She ran away, but she didn't get far when James Minor killed her at the site of Hogwarts. After coming back to school grounds as a ghost, she took it upon herself to learn every trick and every crime her brothers had committed. She didn't get far in her research, but her problems today are trying to fit in and trying to not let anyone's secrets destroy her like they did two years ago.
Phyllis: Phyllis Minor had a hard life. Ivan ruined any future she had hopes for. Phyllis had to earn her father's trust and respect before he even gave her the time of day. Above all, Phyllis had to create a master plan to take revenge on the very one who took away her father from her in the first place.
Phyllis wasn't always crazy. She used to smile. Phyllis used to have a great life up until she started feuding with Ivan, up until something happened to destroy her world. She doesn't talk about it anymore because it's too painful to remember, but she will never forget it in the back of her mind. The loneliness caused her to create a form of human evil, someone so insane that they were a part of her, a creation whom she had named Phyllis 2.
Sheila: Sheila was only known for being the younger sister of Phyllis. That was all everyone had ever seen her for. No one saw her for her personality, for her beauty, or even for her peaceful nature. Sheila didn't want to be born with a peaceful nature, as it cost her a relationship with her parents.
Sheila couldn't help it. Sheila was too nice. She then found love when she met Troy, something her sister had originally taught her was the complete source of evil. She didn't think it was the source of evil, after all, Troy was the best thing that had ever happened to her. The year Phyllis went insane was the worst year of her life, because Sheila can never forgive her sister for leaving her alone to face her problems by herself.
Kelsey: Kelsey Brown is the cousin of Lavender Brown and was the same age as her. They didnt always get along though. Kelly was smart, adventurous and modest. When she was eleven she was accepted to Hogwarts and sorted into Gryffindor. She was average friends with Lavender and the Patil twins, pretty good friends with Hermione, Ginny and Luna, but her best friend was a Hufflepuff muggleborn girl named Rebecca Fulton. The girls were as close as sisters despite being in different houses. In fifth year, she joined the DA and found she was pretty good at dueling. She also found out her best friend was in love with a guy from her house, Drew Sullivan. She applauded her friend, Drew was a nice guy. The next year, Rebecca set her up with Drews best friend Darius and Kelsey fell head over heels. After sixth year, she decided not to go back to Hogwarts and joined a group of renegade witches and wizards, mostly defected Ministry employees or new Hogwarts graduates, which acted as a covert ops group for the Order, where she ran into Darius. They worked and fought together until Darius was injured. While he was gone, Kelsey fought harder than she ever had before. In the Battle of Hogwarts, Emerald Soulkeeper made a wall begin to collapse on them, and she stole Kellys soul and Apparated away in time. Time passed until she was freed from her captivity. She reunited with Darius and he proposed on the spot, to which Kelsey accepted. After becoming engaged, she got back on her feet and is preparing for her wedding. She is the godmother of Lucas.
Morgan: Morgan Claybourne has been many things. A half-blood, she had an average childhood but it was far from normal. She was accepted to Hogwarts at age eleven and on the train she met her soon-to-be best friend Cedric Diggory a fellow first year. She was sorted into Hufflepuff, and she was elated when he was sorted into Hufflepuff right after her. Her Hogwarts years were mostly normal, though Harry Potters adventures did spice things up a bit. The Claybournes and the Diggorys became good friends through their children, Morgan was always welcome at the Diggorys and Cedric was always welcome at the Claybournes. In her final year they had the Triwizard Tournament. She worried for Cedric but stood by his decision to enter into the Tournament. She was scared yet excited when his name came out of the goblet. She was a little angry with Harry until she learned he never actually put his name in. When Cedric fell for Cho, she was happy for him but felt left behind, left out, like Cho was replacing her. When Harry appeared with Cedrics dead body, she was one of the few to push through the crowd and onto the field to see them, it was Morgan, not Cho, who flung herself down on the ground, clutched Cedrics body and cried her eyes out. After Cedrics death, Morgan became more focused on fighting the war, joining the Order of the Phoenix right after graduation. She also started training to be a Healer at St. Mungos, and became a particularly good healer, although she didnt have quite the amount of natural talent that Veronica possesses. She did less fighting in the war and more healing the fighters, but she did fight some too. After the war she continued her healers career until she was asked to come teach Potions at Hogwarts. She taught for a while and was the Head of House Hufflepuff until Harriet Marcus was appointed Minister of Magic. Harriet appointed Morgan Headmistress of Hogwarts, and now Morgan has a mission to be the best Headmistress possible and to protect her students. To this day she still misses her best friend and doesnt want another student to end up like him.
David: David Blackshire is a 3rd year Ravenclaw. Hes the only child of the Blackshire family and is the cousin of Veronica. His parents sous were stolen by Emerald Soulkeeper when he was a child, so everyone thought they were murdered. He lived with his aunt, uncle and cousin and was well cared for. He discovered his passions of painting and riding. When he was eleven he was accepted to Hogwarts and he was sorted into Ravenclaw. He has a hard time making friends and usually spends his time painting or reading a book, feeling like an outcast or like he doesnt belong. He was enraged when Veronica was hit by Carnificinam, the Living Death curse and was elated when she returned. Recently he got his parents back and now lives with them again. Hes very intelligent, serious and creative and loves his cousin.
Jean Pierre: Jean Pierre: Jean Pierre was born in France to a happy family. His parents were both muggles and he was an only child. They didn't quite understand that he was different at first until they realized their house kept catching on fire, and then they realized something was up. Jean Pierre attended muggle primary school because his parents were unaware that he was a wizard. When he was 11 he was invited to Durmstrang. He didn't fit in because he was pretty dull and a bit dumb. Though he was caring and brawny. During his sixth year at Durmstrang he heard of an opportunity to transfer to Hogwarts. He jumped at the idea of going to a more diverse school. He decided to join Hufflepuff because he enjoyed the colors. He didn't know anything of the actual house or what it represented. He became friends with Jolie who was another transfer student. They fell in love and went through many rough times including both of them dying and Jean Pierre being brought back to life through the use of the stone. Jolie died permanently and he met Claire who he instantly bonded with. Though he loved Jolie, he knew he needed to move on and enjoy life.
Linus: Mikial Linus was born into a strict family in Norway in 1953. His parents were both wizards and he has two younger sisters who are also wizards. His parents were both 21 when they had him. His parents in 1989 were going through a very late mid life crisis and decided to have more kids at the age of 57. This made Mikial somewhat depressed as he thought his parents were trying to replace him. His mother died in child birth where she delivered two twins, Fauna and Flora Linus. His sisters are both now 24 and live in America. He is very protective of them as he even taught them at Hogwarts. His father died a few years after their births and Mikial basically raised his sisters as his own as he was in his early forties. His parents made him work from a very early age and he did not get much time to play and be a kid so he did not have any friends until he entered Hogwarts. He was sorted into Slytherin and was at the top of his class, excelling in both DADA and Charms. He made many friends but never found someone he could call his best friend. Once Mikial graduated he became involved with dark groups of wizards secretly while beginning to teach at Hogwarts. He took a leave of absence after his sisters graduated and became a governor on the board for Hogwarts, that way he was still involved with the school. He became fully involved with the Death Eaters and made a friend in a woman named Jayne. She was a former student of his turned apprentice. They had an affair that her husband was to never know about. He was named godfather of Jayne's daughter Melanie who he loves dearly. He currently works at Hogwarts while still providing information regarding the last of the death eaters.
Eddie: Edeline Phan is a seventh year Gryffindor. She is one of the few lucky enough to be born around the start of the war and live through it. She has always been a mischievous rebel, and doesnt like to be ordered around or do as shes told. She would prefer to carve her own path, shes fiercely independent. When she was young her mother died, and so she became protective of her family. Eddie liked quidditch from a young age. When she was eleven she was accepted to Hogwarts and was sorted into Gryffindor. She has been a part of the team for several years and this year became team captain. She is almost always at odds with her father, who wants her to settle down and take her responsibilities. She is very much of a tomboy and even sometimes wishes she was a boy. One day she cut off her hair and dyed it bright scarlet red and has worn it like that ever since. She is brave, loyal, independent, stubborn, athletic, protective and free-spirited.
Nikolai: Nikolai Zhukov is a former Hufflepuff who teaches Potions. He was born is Russia and was five or six around the time of the Battle of Hogwarts. When he was eleven he was accepted to Durmstrang and became somewhat of a quidditch prodigy, playing beater. In fourth year he befriended his fellow beater, a first year named Alexei Romanov. They were good friends and beaters throughout Nikolais fourth and fifth year, acting like an older brother to Alexei. After fifth year he and his parents moved to England for his fathers job and he was forced to transfer to Hogwarts for sixth and seventh year. He was sorted into Hufflepuff, and played quidditch but it just wasnt the same. After he graduated he went into potions research. Now, three years after graduating, he was hired by an old coworker, Morgan Claybourne, to take her spot as potions professor so he now teaches potions.
Alexei: Alexei Romanov is a sixth year exchange student from Durmstrang. He was born in Russia but when he and his little sister were young he and his family immigrated to New York City. When he was eleven he was accepted to Durmstrang. There he joined the quidditch team and met Nikolai Zhukov, a fourth year who became Alexeis best friend and older brother figure. After Alexeis second year it hurt to hear that Nikolai was being dragged off to England and Hogwarts. Alexei stayed in touch with Nikolai and made other friends, but it really wasnt the same. He was happy for his little sister Anya when she was accepted to Salem, as he doted on her. When he got the opportunity to be an exchange student and go to Hogwarts he couldnt pass it up, even though he knew Nikolai had graduated. Alexei joined Gryffindor. He became good friends with Lucas, who was obsessed with quidditch, and met Veronica. He got a giant crush on Veronica and befriended her. When he heard Salem was invaded, he immediately left and rescued his little sister Anya, bringing her to Hogwarts. Just after they finally admitted their feelings, Veronica was hit by the Living Death Unforgivable curse. Alexei was distraught. However, he was so happy to get Veronica back and he started dating her. Alexei is brave, athletic, friendly, protective, and loyal.
Gabrielle: Gabrielle McLee/Xavier/Finch/Black grew up in a countryside in Britain with her father on a farm. They raised mostly muggle known animals, but kept a few pygmy puffs, including her pet Peach. Her father Bob was bitten by Fenrir Greyback and had wanted his daughter to be safe from him. She was sent to Hogwarts and placed in Ravenclaw. For five years straight she was at the top of her class. The first day of her sixth year she met the third year Jackson Finch, whom she instantly fell in love with. She and her friend Jane were bitten by Alaine, turning them into werewolves themselves. She had suffered at first but then she realized that she should be embracing it. During one of the battles she was informed that her father had bitten her mother and they were both under the imperious curse, serving as werewolves in Savis army. She saw them once in the battle and told them to escape. She was later informed that they had been killed by werewolf hunters and has seen their ghosts only a few times. Jackson proposed and she accepted, and he made her bite him so they could be together. She has been abused and has developed dependent personality disorder from being taken in and abandoned so many times, and is also why she will become very affectionate to strangers who take her in or help her and why she is still with Jackson after he has cheated on her multiple times with many other girls. She has also figured out how to transform fully into a werewolf when the moon is not full. She was adopted by Corbin Xavier after her parents died, and was surprised that he was okay with her being a werewolf. She caught Nagini trying to kill him so she bit Naginis neck, not recognizing her. She felt horrible about what she had done and how she caused the conflict between Nagini and Jackson. At the moment she is just trying to pull herself together and trying to give herself a normal life again.
Anya: Anya Romanov is a first year exchange student from Salem. She was born in Russia but when she and her big brother were young she and her family immigrated to New York City. When Alexei went off to school she missed him a lot but still had a nice childhood. This year she was accepted to Salem. Salem was nice until it got invaded, then it was scary, but she got rescued by Alexei and got taken to Hogwarts. At Hogwarts she joined Hufflepuff and has been trying to learn ever since. She likes Veronica and was sad when she was hit by the curse. She sometimes hangs out with Alexei and his friends but doesnt really have any of her own. Between what happened at Salem and when she was kidnapped to help guard the broom by the evil people, she has seen some frightful things at a young age. She is kind, friendly, somewhat shy and optimistic.
Will: William Aldrige was born in November of 1996, making him another to be born at the start of the war. His father is a squib and his mother a muggle, but his dad abandoned them when he was young so it was always assumed Will was muggle born. He grew up in England with his mother and two older sisters whom he loves dearly. Although the youngest, William has also taken on the responsibility of being the protective brother, taking care of the one still at home. When he was eleven he was admitted at Hogwarts, which was a surprise for his family, as he wasn't one to have big explosions of accidental magic; his was done on the little things. Will was sorted into Hufflepuff. He is very loyal and fair, and, should his friends or family be harmed, is ready to fight back at any moment. When Grindlewald was attempting to take over the world he grew worried about his family and went home, and arrived back at the school just before the battle that he participated in. Will also has an extreme sense of cheesy humor and does well in school, although he doesn't always work hard. Still he attains good grades. His best friend is probably Luke, a fifth year and fellow Hufflepuff, but he doesn't see him often. While he has also been affected by the school's events, he feels he has been given the best situation under the circumstances and continues to do his duty as an older student and strives to protect his classmates.
Noleen Jolie (Joy) Leveque: Noleen is a gifted young Ravenclaw who was born healthy to a loving couple in April of 2001. She is the oldest child of three, the youngsters being a little girl and younger boy. Noleen has very fair skin with dark brown hair that curls in loose curls. Her eyes are green. Since she was young Noleen has been a curious child, wondering about the world and how things work. She is very developed emotionally although she often appears as a cute child. She also had political view from a young age. These things all contribute to her giftedness, which was determined at a muggle primary school when she was eight. Because of her emotional state, she wasn't upset often and only used accidental magic a few times. There are a few things unique about Noleen, which make her stand out sometimes when she doesn't wish it: Noleen is of mixed cultures. Her mother is a half-blood and was born and raised in Ireland; she was taught magic at home and wanted her daughter to as well. Her father, however, is half French and half English; he went to Beauxbatons and Hogwarts. Noleen was born in Ireland but has lived in England, too, as she does now. The name Noleen shows her heritage. Noleen is an Irish girls name, Jolie is French and means pretty, but her parents often refer to her as Joy, which is English. Leveque is a French surename. Noleen speaks with a slight Irish accent and feels most comfortable there, although she knows a bit of French, too, which has helped her feel more in place with the exchange students. Her family plans to move back to Ireland soon, and it does affect her even if her schooling won't change. Noleen is also fascinated with music, particularly piano pieces and some violin. She wants to learn how to play each but is discouraged because there are not many wizards who can teach her. When Noleen was eleven it was decided she would go to Hogwarts. She was placed in Ravenclaw, to no one's surprise. She fit well in the house but still appeared to be different from her classmates and more mature. This year she was pulled from school by her father until the attacks settled down. Noleen understood his concern but did not see it as a very fair thing to do when others were forced to stay and endure them. She came back, though, and has caught up on her studies quickly. Noleen makes friends easier in older students and adults, but is often just treated like a child around them. This rejection saddens her sometimes, but she knows it is unintentional and keeps her spirits bright. She is sweet, curious, little for her age and fascinated by ancient runes. She excels in her classes and is very self-motivated.
Alec: Alec's father was death eater. Not just any death eater, it was Igor Karkaroff. Alec went to Durmstrang as a young boy, but he was overshadowed during the year of the Triwizard Tournament when Igor favored Krum. Alec was never cut out for being a death eater, but he was raised to believe otherwise, to believe that a pure blood wizarding race was something to be achieved.
Alec switched schools from Durmstrang his seventh year. He was sorted into Slytherin at Hogwarts. It wasn't long after he got there when Snape had taken over as Headmaster. Alec fought alongside the death eaters during the Battle of Hogwarts and the second Wizarding War. He later found out that his father had fled in terror and was not on the side of the death eaters. He then learned from death eaters that Igor had turned in several of his friends, afraid to go to prison, while he was on trial at the ministry. It then was decided that Alec would change his last name to Ryland and assume a new identity.
Alec got a position to be a Caretaker at Hogwarts a few years after the Battle of Hogwarts. No one knew about his true origins. Alec then received word that his sister and her second husband died under mysterious causes. Alec then took in his niece, Eris, in order to protect her from a father who wouldn't provide for her. He hid her family origins from his niece because he was afraid she wouldn't accept it and he arranged privately to have her be placed in Hufflepuff instead of Slytherin.
Eris: Eris never knew her father. Her father had left their family about a week after she was born. Eris's mother, Florentina, married a man name Frank Tridentia when Eris was two. Eris lived a happy life until her mother and stepfather died three years ago, without anyone knowing what had caused their deaths.
Eris has never had any friends. She normally spends her time reading. Eris likes to talk with her uncle Alec, whom she never knew until he took her in as her legal guardian. This prevented her from ever knowing who her father was. She currently is in Hufflepuff, although she's always felt as if she never fit in there.
Evan Robert Smith: Evan Smith is a former Gryffindor that now teaches History of Magic. His father, Thomas Tommy Smith, was a muggleborn wizard who happened to be a rock star and his mother, Ophelia Kirkpatrick Smith, was a pureblood witch that researched potions and attempted to create new ones. His parents could not be more different, but somehow they stayed together. When Evan was two, his little sister Christine Smith was born. Evan was funny, curious, outgoing, friendly, mischievous, and charming. Evan defended and protected Christine to the best of his abilities, making sure she stayed mostly out of the limelight. Evan pranked and joked from a young age; he loved to make people laugh and smile. When Evan went off to Hogwarts, he was sorted into Gryffindor. He made many friends, including his best friend Melanie Black, who he became friends with the minute he sat down at the Gryffindor table in the empty seat next to her. He also became close friends with Georgette Toodle, Darius Roric, Drew Sullivan, Rebecca Fulton, Kelsey Brown, and Lee Jordan and the Weasley twins. He did all he could for Melanie, but there were some things he couldnt help her with. In his fifth year, both Evan and Christine joined the DA, and became more involved with the war. At the same time his parents marriage finally began to crumble. The next years were hard on him, with the family thrown into the medias limelight as his parents fought, did stupid stuff, and tried to get a divorce. They finally did, in the start of the summer after Evans sixth year and Christines fourth year, in a large and expensive affair that tore their family apart. Later that summer, Evans father Tommy Smith was hospitalized for being muggleborn. Evan and Christine went back to school, but continued to rebel with some of the other students, eventually joining the group in the Room of Requirement. In the Battle of Hogwarts, Evan tried to send Christine away with the other underage students, but she snuck back when he was preoccupied. During the battle, Evan was fighting when he was attacked by death eaters. Christine had just saved his life when she stumbled and appeared to die in Evans arms. The battle had ended when he finally made it back to the Great Hall with Christines body draped in his arms. He was in shock, so he just kept repeating I found her over and over again. After the battle, and Christine and Fred had been honored and either buried or cremated, Evan disappeared from the country, wandering around the world for over a year, drifting from city to city in a grief-filled haze, convinced he could have stopped her death or prevented her from sneaking back to the battle. His return to England was purely accidental, but he ended up taking a job at Weasleys Wizard Wheezes. It was months later before anyone besides his fellow employees realized he was back, when Melanie wandered into the store during Evans shift. Once people learned he was back, many of his friends came around and helped get him back on his feet. It was when he was finally getting back to normal that Evan decided to teach. He then was hired to be a History of Magic professor and has been teaching at Hogwarts ever since. He didnt like to talk about his year abroad or his sisters death to anyone, preferring to hide it behind his cheerful joker exterior. He is diagnosed with PTSD and suffers from episodes occasionally. This year Georgette came to teach and he fell in love and they are now engaged to be married. Also recently, the truth behind Christines circumstances was revealed and he is quite happy to have his sister alive again.
