Pete, I'd love it if you all came along to DLR for a group trip!!
I'm not sure when yet (what time of year is good for DLR? August? Early September? Will HM be open?) but that's probably when I'm looking since it's the best time of year to take time off from work.

I am actually headed to DLR next summer for the first time myself, but please do not count on me for any kind of physical protection. I run away screaming at the first hint of any kind of conflict. It's how I stay so fit and trim.
