FYI (from Sunquest Vacations website)
Announced earlier this week, as of May 1st, 2010 , every person travelling to Cuba is required to have health insurance coverage to enter the country.
Under this new measure, coverage can be purchased at the point-of-entry into Cuba (airport) or in advance from foreign companies that have been approved by the Cuban government (a list of these approved companies has yet to be published).
The measure decrees that tourists, foreigners with temporary residence in Cuba and Cubans living abroad who return to visit will have to be insured. It exempts diplomats and representatives of accredited international organizations.
