So, I got my first job today!
I'm a receptionist at a massage place. :goodvibes
I answer phones, make appointments, and sell memberships.

I am so excited!
When I went for one of my interviews there was a Dolphin football player in there waiting to be taken. The receptionists were joking with him that he and the team better beat the Jets, ;)

Anyway, what was your first job?
Did you like it?

aah cool well done!:)

i've sort of got mine, i went for an interview this morning at a hotel,
and the owner said that when the next available job comes up, she is going to ring me as my application/letter was outstanding and my interview went really well, so now its waiting for the placement to come up :L

Well Done!:)

Cashier at a bulk food store.
I'm still there, but I'm a supervisor now. I'm only on cash once and a while.

My first job was as an usher at a movie theatre (ripping tickets and sweeping theatres). Barring a few... ah... incidents... it was a lot of fun at first, but then we got a new manager who was a complete jerk and things went downhill fast. I stuck to it, though, right up until the day I had to quit to go away to college.

My first job was at CVS. I was a cashier, I restocked shelves, and I set up displays. I'm still work at CVS when I'm home from school. I really don't like the job, and I've tried to find a different one, but I couldn't find anything. I love the people I work with, I just don't like the customers..haha

I worked in fastfood about a year ago.
Was one of the worst things I've had to go through.
Hated it with a fiery passion that I don't even want to think about working.

I only lasted a month.
I'm trying to find a new, better job now though.
My parents told me not to let one bad job ruin my opinions on working.
It was the people and what the job required that I had a problem with.
So, if my coworkers are nice I'll probably like my next job. :-)

I've never had like an all year job but the past 3 summers I've been an umpire for the community little league. It's my first (and only "real") job and I LOVE it.

I work in a local restaraunt, waiting tables, washing dishes, making drinks, and ringing up orders. It's my first job and I've only been here for like 3 weeks. So far it's going well we will see once I get out of training how I do... Also schools starting soon so I'll see if I'll be able to manage it all.

My first job was a receptionist at my dad's Ford dealership. I answer calls, file car paperwork, help with inventory..ect.

I also work at a haunted attraction in the fall called Legends of the Fog. I do not get paid but it's still considered work. Basically i get make up on and scare people that come by in wagons. Its so much fun!

I work as a cashier at the local supermarket :P been there a year and I still really enjoy it
Just hoping to get a transfer for when I go to uni next month because I dont want to leave the company !!!

well... i just got my workers permit and i'm in the process of applying at a local toy store by my house. they are hireing for christmas... but they said they needed year round workers too.

My first job was at a place called Itz

I started working at Itz at the end of my sophomore year of high school when i was 16. My job was to host birthday parties from different age ranges.

Some days i really loved my job because you got to interact with alot of cute kids and great families (plus you got tips to be a party host)

But some days i really hated it, because at Itz our parties sign an agreement that they have a certain amount of time allowed in that room, once the time has run out the party host has to either kick them out of the room or move them to regular customer dining area. Well some party groups "forgot" about this rule and would throw fits if they weren't allowed to stay longer.

My best friend worked with me at Itz and she had this one party that was so mean to her that they made her cry :sad2:

Overall i would never work at Itz again, because most of the days you got usually bad party groups who were extremely rude
