Done with WDW new to Universal

Quick question since we're new (just cancelled our March 2022 wdw trip and booked 10 nights at HRH instead. If I buy an AP (since we're there for 10 nights) are the AP's activated at purchase or when they're first used. This will help us determine whether we buy now to lock in prices or wait until closer to when we go. Thanks!

Have to say I cannot imagine spending 10 days at Universal. Four was the most we've ever done and we had done everything 10 times by that point. Now if you are just staying there for 10 days and going other places for the most part, thats a different story.

Yes 10 days is a to long for just UNI....Try adding Seaworld Or Discovery Cove into ur plans to break it up
