Do I have time to purchase annual passes and get my certificates before I leave?

I am leaving on March 20 to go to Disney. We are wanting to purchase our annual passes ahead of time to go ahead and get them paid off and not have to worry about anything. I know we have to convert them into passes but for finance reasons we want to go ahead and purchase them.

How far out do we have to purchase them to ensure that we will get our papers before we leave, and what happens if we dont get them in time before we leave?

I think you can buy them online at the official disney site and just pick them up at guest relations when you arrive at the parks. It's called will-call.

I have done this before.
