Maybe a laundry card with a studio? Or they will have just a villa laundry in the south wing...Or, they just expect all DVC to use the one in BRV... Wouldn't put that past them at this point...I know that one (near Roaring Forks) well and have used it many times.
But DVC gets free laundry, and the one near RF you have to pay to use (last time we were there I think it was $2 per load). So how will those staying in DVC rooms (CCV in this case) get free laundry in a paid laundry room ?

Has anyone started booking for the fall? We booked about 2 weeks ago for Dec 1-7 and the first thing the CM said was, I hope you can get a room. I didn't realize at the time that the south wing was turning into DVC. Luckily we got our room, but many views are sold out already. I think I mentioned this a while back but now we know why.
I am thinking we are all going to get stuck with rack rate with less inventory

Yes - we are DVC Members, homed at Bolder Ridge... we already have room reservation for November, 2017.
Our grandson loved sleeping in the top bunk. He still talks about it. He was five years old at the time.We are headed home in 200 (long) days. My 6 year old is in love with the idea of a bunk room. Does anyone have recent experience in one? My youngest will be 3 on the trip, so we know she can sleep on the bottom bunk. We are traveling with my mom and adult brother and are hoping connecting rooms are available.
I haven't received the dreaded email yet.....but I will let you all know if/when I do. For reference, I check in June 3rd.Well I've gotten the email informing me Roaring Fork will be closed during my stay. My check-in date is May 28 so that makes me think it won't open until at least June. I know @ArielSRL checks in a few days after me so I guess we can see if they're just covering their behinds or if the closure really will extend further into June. It personally doesn't really bother me but I know people are curious.
I received the email today too. I arrive May 7. They must send them out in bunches based on arrival date.
Curious. We check in 4/19 and nothing. No phone call, no email, no snail mail. And yes, we did book directly with DisneyWell I've gotten the email informing me Roaring Fork will be closed during my stay. LOL.... Funny thing, we really do not care. Granted, they don't know that but we are much happier with GP than we would have been with RF.Curious indeed, clearly they don't want to get any strongly worded emails back from you!
